Depending on the application field you can choose from different switching contacts: — tungsten-copper (WCu) contacts for arcing contacts in SF6 circuit breakers — copper-chromium (CuCr) for vacuum interrupters — tungsten carbide-silver (WCAg) for vacuum contactors With their high wear resistance and optimum arc erosion properties, arcing contacts from Plansee can reach a service life of over 40 years. The contacts alone are not enough - Plansee assembles and connects all the necessary individual parts of the moveable and fixed switch contact and supplies you with the complete contact system ready for installation.

Switch probes are contact probes with integrated switch function, that opens or closes after a certain travel. This is very useful for testing the presence or exact position of a component or a connector element.

These high-power bimetal operated temperature switches are available either with normally closed (NC) or normally open (NO) contact configuration. The robust round metal enclosure accommodates a resilient preloading disk, a bimetal disk and a silver contact. The compact switch system is covered by means of a plate which also carries a silver contact and is isolated from the enclosure by means of an isolating washer. The resilient preloading disk ensures excellent performance. The resilient preloading disk keeps the contact pressure constant throughout the entire temperature range of the BEDIA switch until switching occurs. The mechanically and electrically unloaded bimetal disk snaps over at a preset temperature, with either opening or closing the contact arrangement. The bimetal will only snap back to its initial condition after the temperature has dropped significantly.

Note: If the actuator is within the switching range (safety door closed), the safety contacts and, if applicable, the signal contacts of the safety switch are activated. In the tried-and-tested, gasketed design, the EC-series offers many benefits to the user on top of its ease of operation. Due to the internal drainage, use in even the most hygienically clean areas is possible. The press lock is performed by an automatically self-regulating pneumatic/hydraulic closing system. The automatic closing pressure maintenance ensures that the plate pack always remains closed. An adjustable pressure switch with a potential-free contact is provided for integration into the customer's control system. This prevents the feeding pump from running uncontrollably. Also, as with all AQUACHEM filter presses, the discharge manifold can be generated here at the customer's request. Due to the gasketed design, the seamless backflushing of the filter media in the filter press is possible. The filter press frame is phosphated and powder-coated, offering a high level of protection against external influences.

The profiled guide slide PFS is available in 5 series with sizes from 100 mm up to 425 mm width and strokes up to 2000 mm. To protect them against dirt accumulations, the slides are covered with bellow covers. Other covers on request. The slides are available in aluminium (nature anodized), or casted iron GGK-25. Fast and accurate measurements of the smallest resistance values are possible with the milliohmmeter RESISTOMAT® model 2316. Due to the rugged aluminium injection moulding desktop housing with membrane keypad it is suitable for use in laboratory and industrial environment likewise.
