Elastomer NBR. Brace ring and tension spring steel. Rotary shaft lip seals are readytoinstall seals for sealing rotating shafts. They are made from an elastomer outer sleeve and an internal bracing shim. The tension spring ensures increased pressure of the lip against the shaft and supports static sealing. Form A DIN 3760 (ISO 6194/1) version, smooth OD. Form AS DIN 3760 (ISO 6194/0) version, smooth OD with extra dust lip to protect from external dirt. The material NBR has a high wear resistance and is resistant to motor fuels, oil, hydraulic oil and lubricating grease. Orings are universal sealing elements used to seal against liquid or gaseous median. They are suitable for static and minor dynamic applications. Orings can be used for radial and axial sealing. The sealing occurs during installation by the radial or axial compression of the crosssection. During operation, the median pressure increases the deformation of the Oring and so increases the sealing effectiveness. For best sealing effectiveness, the Oring should have the largest possible crosssection. During installation the correct groove size, compaction, elongation/compression should be ensured. By static use the compaction should be 15 30% of the crosssection. By dynamic use it should be 10 18% (hydraulic), 4 12% (pneumatic). With regard to the ID, when installed the Oring should be stretched max 6% compressed max 3%

We supply various types of SEBS - EPDM / Silicon and EPDM rubber products of the highest quality. SEBS is a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) with hardnesses between 20 and 85 shore A. They are also called technical rubbers, synthetic rubbers or elastoplastics, but then added with syrene. In our range you will find a wide range of rubber products, but we are also happy to be of service with customized SEBS rubber. Advantages of SEBS rubber SEBS rubber is comparable to EPDM, but has the advantage that small series can be made for a favorable price. Another big advantage is the resistance of this material. For example, SEBS rubber is UV and ozone resistant and resistant to extreme heat and cold. This ensures that this type of rubber is very widely applicable. SEBS has been described by Greenpeace as an acceptable alternative to PVC in toys. Polyethylene (PE) and Polypropylene (PP) are the most commonly used building blocks for SEBS.
