FRONT AND REAR MOWERS SUITABLE FOR ATV/QUAD Agile, robust and safe on any kind of ground, the TC Special series of Caroni Mowers are the ideal partners of ATV/QUAD models. Designed and realized according to the most recent construction technologies and systems, both in front and rear version, they can guarantee a clean and precise cut, 25 to 100mm (1" to 4" inch) on the whole working width of 1200 or 1500 mm (48" or 59" inch). Other versions can also be realized: with a 1800 mm (71" inch) working width and rear or side unloading, or with a 2400 mm (95" inch) working width with rear unloading. Available in eight models with side or rear unloading and manual or electric start-up, they are equipped with a monobloc self-supporting cold-drawn frame that makes them especially robust. Their reduced weight makes all manoeuvres easier. Easy cutting height adjustment: simply by shifting the spacers mounted on the fork axle. The drawbar is floating to let the machine easily follow the ground unevenness. Furthermore, various positions are available in order to shift the machine as to tractor. Seven greasing points are available, easy to reach. The belt tension is obtained by adjusting the screw mounted under the motor and can be checked easily, too. Briggs & Stratton engines 11.5 HP are mounted on the standard versions of the TC SPECIAL machines for ATV/QUAD models, but other engines fromthe best manufacturers in the market are also available. Furthermore, various accessories are available in order to complete the machine equipment: from a mulching kit to inflatable wheels, to a centralized greasing kit. Even better performance SIMPLER MAINTENANCE The MULTICUT has been awarded the European Community certificate of approval and complies fully with EC Machine Directives. Maintenance problems are trimmed to a minimum as the MULTICUT requires no more than the standard cleaning and checking operations for a traditional lawnmower. Since the MULTICUT can be folded each part of the device is easy to access, making maintenance even simpler. Before carrying out maintenance operations, always stop the tractor and release the universal joint; maintenance instructions are set out in the Operating, Maintenance and Safety Manual� which accompanies each Caroni device. The device consists of three rear lawnmowers with vertical axes, of the TC series - width 1200, 1500, 1800 and 2400 mm - mounted on a single chassis which can be connected up to any tractor: from 30 up to 75 HP. A perfect combination of mechanical, hydraulic and production features which, at speeds of 10/15 km/h, reduces the number of cutting operations, work times and labour costs while making each lawnmower three times as efficient. Reduced operating times also result in lower fuel consumption and less pollution from the tractor. All these features are combined in a device which weighs from 950 up to 1300 kg. With an operating range from 3.60 up to 5.65 m, MULTICUT increases productivity and cuts the time and costs of maintaining sports fields, parks, fairways and large grassed areas in general, sectors for which it was specially designed. EXECELLENT PERFORMANCE ON ANY SURFACE Drive is transmitted by means of a universal joint to a fourwaybox and then by means of three more universal jointsto the three cutting devices which operate independently. Each lawnmower in anchored to the supporting structure individually by means of oscillating arms and is equipped with “extra wide� wheels. Since the lawnmowers operate independently they are able to follow the contours and irregular features of the land, cutting the grass evenly and accurately to heights of between 25 and 100 mm. EASY TO TRANSPORT The MULTICUT has a three cylinder hydraulic system designed to fold the three lawnmowers vertically when work is complete, reducing the width of the device to just 2.00 m - 2.20 m - 2.40 m, depending on the model. This makes it extremely easy to transport the MULTICUT by road. Two extra wide tyres and a hydraulic stop on each device increase safety and stability. The F series front mower, which is available with cutting widths of 1200, 1500, 1800 and 2350 mm, dumping side or rear position, can also be used with 12 to 60 HP tractors. This mower is available in 21 versions with a power takeoff of either 540 or 1000 rpm, although a 2000 rpm PTO can be requested for models F12 - F15 - F18 - F24. All 21 versions are fitted with axially adjustable hitches so that the mower can be attached to any tractor that has a front hydraulic lift system.
