SPIROL Standard Slotted Spring Pins SPIROL Standard Slotted Spring Pins have a slot width narrower than the wall thickness and thus do not nest or interlock. This feature, combined with a smaller expanded (pre-insertion) diameter, results in a number of advantages for SPIROL Standard Slotted Pins compared to ISO 8752 pins including: • Lower insertion force and smoother insertion. • Rounder pins, which in turn results in better conformance of the pin to the hole wall and eliminates the edge of the slot damaging the hole during insertion. • Lower stress in the spine of the installed pin. This results in longer pin life in shock or fatigue applications. • Ability to use automatic vibratory feeding of pins for installation without interlocking. • Plating of pins for additional corrosion resistance or appearance without “touch marks” or the bonding of nested pins. The Coiled Spring Pin was invented by SPIROL in 1948. SPIROL offers Coiled Pins in three duties, light, standard and heavy, to provide a variety of combinations of strength, flexibility and diameters to accommodate different host materials and applications. Standard duty (sometimes called "medium" duty) Coiled Spring Pins are generally recommended for use in nonferrous and mild steel assemblies and provide the optimum combination of strength and flexibility in these materials. Standard duty Coiled Pins are also preferred in hardened components when there is enough space to accommodate the larger diameter to withstand the applied force because of their ability to absorb shock and vibration. SPIROL's standard duty Coiled Spring Pins are offered in both metric (conforms to ISO 8750 and ASME B18.8.3M) and inch (conforms to ASME B18.8.2) sizes.

In addition to SPIROL Standard Metric Slotted Spring Pins, SPIROL offers a line of ISO 8752 Slotted Pins to meet market demand for these pins. SPIROL offers Slotted Spring Pins manufactured to the ISO 8752 specification in diameters ranging from 2mm to 12mm in both high carbon steel and austenitic stainless steel in plain finish. ISO 8752 Slotted Pins are not available with supplemental coatings such as zinc plating or passivation due to their propensity to interlock during the finishing process.

A gas spring has a container of compressed Nitrogen gas with Piston Rod , Bush, Rod Rings, Valve etc. The Gas Springs are used in Cold Stamping industry to form, cut and fix the sheet metal inside the die. Many auxiliary materials are used for different purposes in the gas spring. Rod wiper, rod guide and rod seal are used on the inner surface of the bush. The purpose of the rod wiper is to prevent the oil and chips in the die from entering the gas spring. The rod guide is used to carry the load in case of axial force on the rod during use. The most important auxiliary material for sealing is rod/piston seal. It directly affects the performance of the product by keeping the gas in the gas spring.

Production to order – also with special-purpose materials as required: We only produce in accordance with customer specifications. Compression springs can assume a wide variety of designs and forms. Our production facilities include compression springs with wire thicknesses in the range of 0.30 to 3.00 mm with abraded ends and in the range of 0.10 to 4.00 mm with unabraded ends. Even extremely strict tolerances regarding length and strength are adhered to in our compression spring production facility. Special-purpose materials that meet specific requirements can also be integrated into production without any problems. Wire materials: All standard spring steel wires in accordance with EN 10270. Disc Springs are conically-shaped precision components designed to be axially loaded. Disc Springs are often incorrectly referred to as belleville disc springs, belleville springs, belleville washers or simply conical washers. SPIROL offers the full range of DIN EN 16983 (formerly DIN 2093) Group 1 and 2 Disc Springs in Series A, B, and C. In addition to the DIN specified sizes, SPIROL stocks its own standard sizes with outside diameters ranging from Ø8mm to Ø200mm. SPIROL Standard Disc Springs were designed around the standardized calculations of DIN EN 16984 (formerly DIN 2092), and meet all material, dimensional tolerance, and quality specifications as laid out in DIN EN 16983 (formerly DIN 2093) yet offer an expansion in the diameter and thickness combinations that are not included in the DIN standard. Standard materials include carbon steel and alloy steel, both finished with a protective coating of zinc phosphate and oil.

Spirol coiled spring pins are coupling elements manufactured from rolled steel. They have a spiral shape and 2 1/4 coil cross-section, which gives them considerable radial flexibiliyt. This flexibility, together with the absence of the axial shear common to normal spring pins, enables them to perform at a superior level in the presence of shocks and vibrations between coupled elements. Coiled spring pins are available in three duties, light duty, standard duty and heavy duty, to provide a variety of combinations of strength, flexibility and diameters to accommodate different host materials and applications. Available in Carbon Steel (C67S HV420-545), Nickel Stainless Steel (AISI 304 hardened HV120). And also in Chrome Stainless Steel (AISI 420 HV460-560) upon request. T-Traction gas springs work in the opposite way from the standard lift type gas springs. The piston rod is in an unloaded state inside the cylinder, and when it is pulled out, the force will attempt to pull it back into the cylinder again. The BFK455 double-brake from INTORQ is a dual spring-applied brake with four friction surfaces and two electrically and mechanically separated brake circuits. The brake circuits can be individually controlled. Separate connecting lines can be used to control the brake circuits individually. The switching state of the two spring-applied brakes is monitored by two individual microswitches. The dual spring-applied brake is designed for one brake alone to provide the necessary braking torque. The second brake is used for redundancy, thus complying with the legal requirements for elevator standards.
