The spiked rollers are specialized products, designed for the applying of self-levelling floors, industrial epoxy, and polyurethane floor coatings. They ensure the even spilling and provide fast withdrawal of the air from the material. This type of rollers is used for applying cement, epoxy, and polyurethane one- or two - component self-spilling coatings. They are also suitable for self-spilling water-based concrete floors. Perforation rollers usually consist of individual segments, which are mounted on a shaft or a tube. The mass inertia can be reduced by bearings between the shaft and the tube. Standard for higher pin distribution, useful for changing the perforation pattern, can be supplemented with empty segments. They are made out of brass, steel, aluminium or plastic. When a segment is damaged, only the respective segment needs to be replaced.
