The OnRobot force-torque sensor provides accurate force and torque measurement along all 6 axes. This gives you precise control during difficult assembly, polishing, grinding or deburring. In addition, the HEX software offers path recording, force control and special functions for insertion. This reduces the integration time for your production line. Our sensors are suitable for most of the industrial robot arms currently in use. Common applications are polishing, grinding, deburring and assembly. They can also be used for teach-in applications and collision detection. Currently available models: HEX-E – High precision, HEX-H – Low deformation, HEX-E QC, HEX-H QC Seamless integration into the robot of your choice. The force measuring chain is an universal reference measuring chain for the calibration of press-fit force measuring equipment. It finds applications in the quality assurance, commissioning and equipment monitoring fields. A DAkks calibration certificate is included so that the force measuring chain can be traced back. The calibration is traceable through accreditation at the German Accreditation Body. The calibration certificate records the displayed values for mounting positions at 0°, 120° and 240°. During calibration in field, the reference load cell is inserted in line with the flux of the press-fit measuring equipment. The force application is of central significance here for the quality of the measurement. Special force application parts are required, so that the line of action of the force agrees as exactly as possible with the geometrical axis of the load cell that is to be measured (central loading).

With its flat construction this force sensor is specially designed to be fitted to a pedal. By this, the operator's forces for each respective action, for example brake tests, can be measured directly and the reaction of the vehicle or machine can be designated. This applies to real test drives, as well as in driving simulators. Due to the special construction of the membrane, it is irrelevant whether an upright or hanging pedal is concerned. The sensor is designed in a way that unavoidable lateral forces have as little impact on the measurement result as possible. Using a central internal thread on the control surface, various machine-related adaptor parts can be easily mounted. Because the pedal is convex-shaped on its surface, the pedal force sensor has a very rigid base plate and therefore can easily be applied to various geometrics. The mounting can even take place on a pedal with an elastomer covering.

Potentiometric displacement sensors are used for direct, precise measurement of mechanical displacements. The mechanical parts of the measuring equipment must be set-up in such a way that the sliding shaft can move without play or lateral forces. A special multi-finger slider ensures good contact even when the adjustment speed is high or in the presence of vibration. With its housing diameter of only 12.7 mm, the model 8709 is also suitable for highly compact structures. The movable fastening clamps allow the user variable options for attaching the sensor without complication. Optionally available adaptations, such as flange and ball joint versions, extend and complement the range of possible applications. When you deal with industrial surface treatment and your expertise is the cleaning, brushing, polishing or coating of strip steel, you most likely do not want to spend any worries about the run of the material. That’s where our Winding Lines keep your worries away – because they take care of a safe run! They work with high tension and special monitoring and deflectors to do this, with the result of a clean wound beginning to end. The machine design thus calls for especially high drive power and precision expansion systems; even something so simple as the machine base is designed special to cope with the forces… To control the precision of one layer to the next, we utilize external edge controls and servo-drive the Reels for adjustment. This way we meet the typical low tolerances in this industry – after all, the coil is the product!

The SM71 series force sensors were specially developed for measuring clamping forces. The short measuring path of 0.019 - 0.14 mm (depending on the measuring range) and a natural frequency in the kHz range guarantee optimal results even for highly dynamic tasks. Typical applications include the simple determination of screw preloads, where the force sensor is used as a “measuring washer”. The very good reproducibility is less than one percent of the nominal load. The sensor is available in measuring ranges from 20 up to 2000 kN. Hardened washers are already included in the scope of delivery for quick and easy installation. The extremely simple and robust design is made entirely of stainless steel (protection class IP68).

Depending on production environment conditions, ultrasonic converters are available with protection ratings of IP50, IP65, and IP67. For rotating operation, a series of ultrasonic converters with integrated HF connection for rotary couplers has been developed. What all ultrasonic converters have in common is their central assembly with solid piezoceramic four-disk technology. The rigid decoupling principle allows for axial and transverse forces. Special manufacturing processes ensure extremely long service life at constant output amplitude.

MAFEX® ULV-Spraying Sytems The MAFEX Potato and Fruit fine spray unit is based on ULV (Ultra Low Volume) technology, through which the required output volume can be reduced significantly. By means of centrifugal force using a specially developed rotation disc approx. 30 million droplets are generated from 1 ml of liquid. In this manner, an optimal effectiveness is achieved. There are two product groups of MAFEX®, which have been optimised for their particular area of application: MAFEX® Potato/Fruit – Treatment of potatoes and fruit In general, the MAFEX unit can be used to apply any liquid. Its most common usage is for the liquid treatment of potatoes with seed dressing agents, fungicides and anti-sprouting agents (e.g. Fungazil® 100 SL, GROSTOP ® Basis, NeoNet® Start, MonCut®, Magnate® 100 SL and Cuprozin® Liquid), as well as for the treatment of citrus and other fruits with various types of wax and fungicides. The H igh F requency vibrators of this series have to be operated with a frequency converter or inverter. If operated with a frequency inverter an rpm adjustment can be realised with little effort. Due to an elastic swivel joint on the mounting base of this vibrator series an elliptical, almost linear force is being generated instead of the circular force of normal vibrators. For some applications this allows to use only one vibrator of this series instead of two normal vibrators. The very robust design allows extremely high mechanical and electrical (Heat) loads, which occur in machines with e.g. very short cycle times. Fields of application are e.g.: Table vibration of block making and pipe machines, etc, knock out grates, Vibrating beams. The compact design allows to generate high centrifugal forces and requires minimum space. This is often necessary when used in machines. Fields of application are e.g.: Ram vibration of block making machines, vibrating table, battery formworks. On demand we also provide specially-designed force transducers with other dimensions and measuring ranges. TesT delivers all electrical force and torque transducers with TEDS chips (TEDS = Transducer Electronic Data Sheet nach IEEE 1451.4). The electronic units of the model 813 and the TesTController 850-USB may recognize sensors equipped with TEDS chips, read their properties and calibration data and automatically calibrate with them. Thus, these electronic units operate with dozens of different sensors so that a complex recalibration is not required.

Fabric compensators are highly flexible and usually made of multi-ply fabric, offering excellent temperature resistance and chemical resistance depending on the particular design. Mainly used in pipe and conduit systems to compensate for axial, lateral and angular movements. One major advantage of this type of compensator is the low restoring forces. Special fabric materials permit temperatures of up to 1,000°C. Additional insulation can be used to resist temperatures of up to 1,600°C . Special clamping kinetics for clamping forces are noticeably below the required range of ISO/DIS 26623-2. BENZ CAPTO™ can be used for milling, drilling and turning, with up to 100 bar coolant pressure. The system is especially suited for heavy duty milling and machining.
