APPLICATIONS For the reconstitution of insulation for low voltage joints. For permanent waterproofing of low and medium voltage taped joints. For preventing leaks of resin during injection in low and medium voltage taped joints. PRODUCT BENEFITS Interleaving overlaps the edges of the coil, allowing easy separation from the tape. Service temperature ‐30 to +80°C. Particularly suitable for hot climates. Good compatibility with all resins used to protect joints. Resistant to water and ozone. Good physical properties, which show a high degree of stability under conditions of use.

Semi‐conducting, self‐amalgamating EPR (Ethylene Propylene Rubber) tape. Its colour is black. The product and interleave are printed with the cautionary words semi‐conducting to distinguish the product from insulating tapes. APPLICATIONS For ensuring the continuity of conductor and core screens at cable joints in a variety of polymeric and elastomeric insulated cables. For jointing power cables up to 69kV. For stress cone construction, where it provides the conducting layer. For smoothing electrical stresses on irregular shaped lugs and connectors. For smoothing electrical stresses in joints and terminations using premoulded components. For smoothing electrical stresses on overhead power lines, reducing discharges and consequent interference to local radio and telephone communications.
