It is manufactured from DuPont Nomex coated with an aggressive solvent resistant acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive. Designed for high temperature electrical applications where a thin, strong and puncture resistant backing is required. It comprises a glass scrim reinforced aluminium tape coated with an aggressive cold weather acrylic adhesive, supplied with a siliconised paper liner. This very strong, high performance aluminium tape is ideal for use in a range of demanding applications and environmental conditions. Features: For use as a heat deflector. Good high and low temperature resistance ‐service temperature: ‐35°C to +120°C. Scrim reinforced for extra strength. Good water vapour resistance.
