Due to their small dimensions and sturdy construction, these miniature compression load cells made of stainless steel can be used in a wide range of industrial applications and in laboratories. This compression load cell is easy to handle and its installation is uncomplicated. Its small size makes it perfect for use in very restricted structures for both static and dynamic compression force measurements. The miniature compression load cell model 8415 is a flat cylindrical disc, the bottom of which is closed with a cover. The load application button for receiving the compression forces is an integrated part of the sensor. A strain gage full bridge is applied in the gauging member of the measuring element. This produces bridge output voltage directly proportional to the measured force. The small diameter of the sensors results in high rigidity and a short measurement range. The measuring force has to be applied centrically and free from lateral forces.

This miniature force sensor was optimised with respect to its height and is, at only 3.4 mm, the lowest known sensor with strain gage technology. Hardly higher than the diameter of its connection cable, it can also be housed in conditions where space is limited. Along with its minimal geometry, the force sensor is also particularly light. It has a high resonance frequency to follow quickly changing load alternations. Despite its extreme miniaturisation, in its application it remains completely robust and suitable for industry, not only with regard to the highly flexible cable connections or the full welding of sensors for the measurement ranges ≥ 0 … 10 N. The miniature compression force sensors are flat, cylindrical discs with covered bottoms. The central load application button for taking on compression forces is an integrated part of the top, which is the sensor‘s membrane.

The tension and compression load cell model 8435 enables universal and fast installation, requires hardly any installation space and upgrades with technical data that are readily achieved by larger sensors. Due to its excellent price-performance ratio with regard to its mechanical and electrical data, the force sensor finds its place in products that are also manufactured in larger quantities and calculated with a small budget. This model of load cell uses proven strain gage technology to perform measurements. Strain gages are applied to the sensitive element and connected to form a full bridge. While the stiffness of regular protective sleeves often makes lifting easier, it can be rather uncomfortable when handling smallersized loads. Small gaps and limited contact areas make handling the stiff protective sleeve more difficult in this situation. The secutex “veloxClip“ is made with a slit along the reverse side. This makes it very flexible in the bending direction. In the longitudinal direction, on the other hand, the protective sleeve keeps its valued properties and remains stiff. This makes it a very simpletouse alternative when lifting loads with more limited contact areas. It is easy to insert through lower gaps and adapts flexibly to loads during lifting.

Because of the design, the lifting slings are wide, the load is distributed over a relatively large area. But sometimes secutex protective sleeves are also required for wire ropes. The wire ropes have an almost round diameter, the surface area to the load is rather small and the stress per area is high. In general, the use of wire rope sleeves can only be recommended for the lifting of large, round loads, i.e. without sharp or angular edges. There are slotted and also unslotted secutex wire rope protective sleeves available for one or two strands. The slotted variants can easily be assembled afterwards, the closed types, on the other hand, have to be installed during the manufacture of the wire ropes. Please note that the wire ropes often have a larger diameter than the nominal size

PICO-DRY adsorption dryers are intended for separation of water vapour from compressed air thus reducing dew point. Those dryers were specifically designed for piston compressors with relatively small duty load (frequent start and stop). Adsorption takes place under pressure in the lower column. When the compressor stops the adsorption column is depressurised and the dry air from the buffer vessel is slowly expanded and used for regeneration. Dryer is equipped with aftercooler as well as with filter making sure that liquid water, oil and other large contaminants will not enter adsorption vessel. Springs in the columns make sure that the desiccant beads will not move during operation. Proven robust design enables efficient and reliable operation, fast installation and simple maintenance.

The compact form of the MINI-LOAD results in especially low approach dimensions both horizontally and vertically. So DAMBACH rail-guided storage and retrieval machines (SRMs) for small parts storage make full use of the space available. A very diverse range of load-handling equipment is available to suit the goods to be stored and the performance targets.
