The µCAN.4.ai-F1 is the versatile universal measuring module for analogue standard signals. The module is designed to measure +/- 40 V or -20…+20 mA signals at an overall sampling rate of 4 kHz.

The module µCAN.1.sg-SNAP is designed to acquire strain gauge measurement signals such as forces, torques, sequences and voltages and transfers them via CAN.

The measurement data acquisition module µCAN.1.ai-SNAP acquires analogue measurement signals and links them to the digital CAN world.

The AN2000C Signal Conditioner & Display is designed to process and display signals coming from various types of transducers (weight, load, pressure, torque, etc.) that use standard strain-gauge bridges. It can also receive any signal within the range ±300mVDC coming from a shunt, a converter or any type of transmitter. The Conditioner provides selectable input ranges (max. ±300mV) and excitation voltages (5V, 10V) to accommodate cells of various types and sensitivities. Two programming methods allow scaling of the meter to operate in the desired engineering units. The basic instrument consists of a PCB assembly including the main board, the display and the power supply filter, to which the A/D conversion circuit and the input option are added. The functions of the basic instrument include the display of the input variable as well as the remote freezing of the display (HOLD), the reading of the stored minimum and maximum values (PEAK & VALLEY) and the TARE function with RESET.

As a Signal Conditioner, the AN1500M is designed to process and display signals coming from various types of transducers (weight, load, pressure, torque, etc.) that use standard strain-gauge bridges. As a Load Monitor the AN1500M can also receive any signal within the ±150mVDC range coming from a shunt, a converter or any type of transmitter. The Load Monitor provides selectable input ranges (±15mV, ±30mV, ±150mV) and excitation voltages (5V, 10V) to accommodate cells of various types and sensitivities. Two programming methods allow scaling of the meter to operate in the desired engineering units. The basic instrument is a soldered assembly composed of a main board, a tri-color programmable display and a power circuit. Standard features include the reading of the input variable as well as remote (HOLD), the reading and memorization of minimum/maximum values (PEAK/VALLEY), TARE and RESET function, and a full complement of programmable logic functions.

As the name suggests ball lenses are spherical lenses mostly made out of High Refractive Index Glass such as Sapphire, and LASFN-9 Glass. The reason ball lenses are most commonly used is for their ability to couple light in and out of fibres. The key feature of ball lenses is their short back focal length allowing for precision coupling where size or space is a limiting factor in the system. Ball lenses are typically used in pairs with one lens acting as a collimator for the second to focus the light back into the coupled fibre. Where a more compact solution is required a half-ball lens is typically more suitable. The interface and signal processing units extend the field of application of Micro-Epsilon sensors. The interface modules are used to convert sensor signals into digital or bus-compatible interfaces. This enables interfaces such as USB, RS422, Ethernet/IP, Profinet and EtherCAT for numerous sensors. The signal processing units are also used to record several sensor signals, to calculate and output them together. This is necessary, for example, for planarity measurement or thickness measurement.
