Spark erosion involves removing material from a conducting part and eroding it to give it the desired shapes and dimensions by means of electrical discharges. In the wire sparks erosion process an unwinding metal wire, under tension, is immersed in water or in another insulating liquid (dielectric) with the part to be worked. The current transmitted forms an electric arc which gives rise to precise, programmed degradation of a section of the part. The residues created by wearing of the part are removed by the water or dielectric liquid. STEEC carries out both spark erosion and fine wire micro spark erosion operations Wires spark erosion and machining Equipped with the latest wire spark erosion technologies, STEEC is able to carry high precision cutting with wires of standard sizes whose diameter may vary from 0.15 to 0.25 mm in all types of mechanical parts.

Die-cutting electrical discharge machining (EDM) and wire electrical discharge machining (WEDM) allow for the machining of precise, difficult-to-machine elements with complex shapes, for which the access of a conventional cutting tool is difficult. The wire EDM machining process is also used in our plant to regenerate tools and create injection moulds, dies and gears. Various technological methods are used for the processing of metal products. Wire EDM machining is an erosion treatment that, through electrical discharges, allows metals to be given various shapes, often impossible to achieve by traditional machining methods. Die sinking and wire erosion EDM are the services that Marxam Project encourages you to cooperate in the field of material removal treatment. We are the precision machining company with a wide variety of services, if you are looking for metalworking services, do not hesitate to contact us.

• TIG welding: The letters TIG stand for tungsten inert gas welding and generally belong to the inert gas welding process. In this welding process, an arc burns between a tungsten electrode (non-consumable) and the workpiece. The electrode, the arc and the molten bath are protected from the atmosphere by an inert gas. • MIG / MAG welding: The letters MIG stand for metal inert gas, the letters MAG for metal active gas. This welding process is also part of the group of metal inert gas welding processes. In this welding process, a consumable wire electrode is fed continuously. The arc burns between the supplied wire and the workpiece. Throughout the welding process, the arc and the weld pool are protected by either an active gas (MAG process) or an inert gas (MIG process). This welding process can be used for a variety of materials and is also available for a large number of welding consumables.
