We do our wine tastings in cosy bars in the old town of Valencia. Wines, cavas (sparkling wine), vermouths, sherries... anything you like. With or without tapas (snacks). A wine tasting does not have to be boring or serious business, of course! We regularly do wine tastings for hen parties and the like, and groups of young people that don’t usually drink wine – they always enjoy it. Wine tastings can be real fun!

An evening all about wines: cruise on the Lys river – wine seminar with wine specialist and tasting with appetizers – dinner in a unique restaurant, wines included. Program: Welcome by our guide/wine specialist and cruise on the canals of Ghent during 40 minutes. You will pass by following sights: St Bavo’s Cathedral, the Belfry and the St Nicholas’ Church Old guildhalls built by boats men, masons, grain measures, fishmongers, hag butters,… Impressive castles like the Castle of the Counts and the Prince’s Court, birthplace of Charles V The more than solid 13th century monasteries previously occupied by Augustinians and Dominicans. The Ancient Port of Ghent along with its quay-walls and mercantile houses, never too far away of shady inns packed with girls of easy virtue etc… We end our cruise along the pier of a unique historical cellar in the center of Ghent. Enjoy a full-day journey from Rome, through the Chianti hills, to visit the cities of San Gimignano and Siena. San Gimignano, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is known as “The City of the Hundred Towers” and it still maintains its original features and timeless charm. Arriving in San Gimignano you will explore its charming medieval streets, visit the old center of this wonderful city where the famous Chianti wine is produced. Stop for a wine tasting and local products in a beautiful wine cellar: 10 different types of wine and oil, then visit the estate and learn about the processing of the grapes. Lunch at the restaurant of the estate. Then continue to Siena, a beautiful medieval city in Italy. You will visit the heart of Siena and the central square known as “Piazza del Campo”, known worldwide for the famous “Palio”, a horse race twice around the square.

After pick up from your hotel, we drive to the Utiel-Requena wine region, about 50 minutes from the city. The region is famous for its own special red grape, the Bobal. In the picturesque old town of Requena we visit some 11th century wine caves, dug out under the town; included in the visit is a wine tasting. From here we go to Utiel to visit a winery - we go into the vineyards, and they will show us how they make their wines. We finish the visit of course with a tasting of some of their best wines. In the village of Utiel we will have a delicious lunch (with more wine...) at a village restaurant. The tour can be adapted to your own wishes, with more wineries, a gourmet lunch instead of a village lunch, and could also be made accessible to people in wheelchair (contents will be modified).
