Fexible and available at any time FRIMO's ultrasonic standard components can be delivered quickly and used in all common system types or integrated into complex manufacturing lines. During ultrasonic welding/riveting, ultrasonic vibrations (20-30-40 kHz) are generated in the joining surfaces of the thermoplastic components. FRIMO generators, converters, and sonotrodes allow a particularly quick weld (within seconds). The processes can be monitored electronically, and the option of hand welding provides simple emergency strategies.

The EASYBOND product line has been designed for simple, continuous welding applications for nonwoven materials and web material. The features of the ultrasonic modules are precisely adapted to customer requirements. Its flexible design allows for upgrade to MICROBOND technology.

The patented MicroGap control also allows for precise gap stabilization for this module concept and ensures uniform weld quality. The rotational weld module is particularly suited for gentle welding of fluffy or intermittently fed materials. The precise support technology of the ULTRASPIN module with the high concentric running precision of the rotary sonotrode ensures consistent product quality and high manufacturing speed.

The most simple way of welding thermoplastic materials is to use the ultrasonic manual welding device. This is particularly well suited for applications in prototype design, for processing of single products, small series and repairs. Regardless of caulking, swaging, staking, cutting, or spot welding, the HSG ultrasonic manual welding device is easy to use, provides variable power rating, and can be equipped with all types of conventional sonotrodes (35 kHz).

Robustness, accuracy, and simplicity are attributes characterizing this ultrasonic welding machine. The entry-level models already include a position measuring system and proportional valve technology as basic equipment. Moreover, password protection and part counter are standard. Precision guiding rails and reliable drive components ensure repeatable welds.

The name delivers what it promises. The ultrasonic welding machine HiQ VARIO can be configured to completely suit the customer’s needs. A large number of pneumatic drive modules with different strokes and cylinder diameters are available, always including the reliable proportional valve technology by Herrmann Ultraschall.

The core of this ultrasonic welding machine is the patented pneumatic HMC drive concept. It combines the benefits of pneumatics with the dynamics of an electrical drive and allows for selection of any optional start point for the weld process. The SoftTouch mode protects the sensitive joining area of the plastic parts to be welded during contact of the sonotrode.
