Rentaload offers the rental of direct current load banks, allowing the reliability of a battery to be tested. Testing using load banks validates the operational performance and battery life of a system. It tests the inverter and generator under load conditions. Indeed, these tests, most often performed during preventive maintenance, can determine the condition of the inverter’s batteries and battery packs (or “strings”) and indicate whether individual cells are in good condition or approaching end of life and must be replaced. The load bank test will ensure that the backup system batteries will work together as expected when called upon to support a critical load.

Rentaload offers a range of 100/200/300 kW high power load banks dedicated to testing in large rooms with several MW of IT power. With their low Delta T , they limit the overheating of computer rooms and thus overstress the air conditioning systems. In addition, their low heating prevents any damage to heat-sensitive peripheral equipment (lighting fibres, cables, fire detection system, etc.) Available in “ SMART” version thanks to their supervision software, they make it possible to collect extremely precise measurements (P/U/I/Delta T) during the tests. With our 6 kW / 7 kW smart connected load banks , test all levels of electrical and thermal redundancy in your data centre (main path / secondary path and backup). Our 19-inch rackmount load banks are specially designed to meet the requirements of data center “IST commissioning” tests. The EP endurance test benches are used to test various components over a defined cycle for durability, e.g. temperature and pressure cycle tests. A high series quality requires precision and reliability. Operational and endurance tests are necessary in order to be able to demonstrably guarantee high quality. In the form of selection or random sampling tests, components are tested for fatigue and wear by means of load tests, for example under pressure and temperature changes. The tests are used for endurance stress testing of various materials and products with different pressure curves and temperatures.
