The ball bearing allows the ring to rotate even under load. Lifting or securing loads, swivel rings have many uses. For the loading capacity to be valid it must be ensured that the ring is in line with the load. The swivel face must lie flat on the support beam and the screw must always be screwed in fully.

Important characteristics of this type of film are: Stretch Level: A pre-stretch level of 50% means the film can be stretched to twice its original length. Stiffness: Film with 50% pre-stretch typically has greater stiffness and resistance to deformation than softer versions of stretch film. This can be important when packaging products that require additional rigidity and stability. Load Securing: This type of stretch film is perfect for securing goods on pallets or in multipacks. A pre-stretch level of 50% provides reliable grip and protection of goods from shifting and damage during transportation and storage. Protection from dust and moisture: Like regular stretch film, the rigid version protects packaged goods from dust and moisture, which is especially important for warehousing and transportation.

It is a legal requirement under The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) 1998 that every lifting operation is carried out in a safe manner.
