Over the last few years, we at EP-E have designed and introduced a series of primary standards for gases, designed for use in calibration laboratories. As a technology partner of the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) in Braunschweig, our solutions are based on the highest standards. The EP gas bell plungers generate a volume flow which is traceable to the SI units length and time. The pistons are driven by a stepper motor via a spindle. In the initial state one piston is fully retracted and the other fully extended. The volume flow can be set with high precision via the piston cross section and the travel speed. At the end of the calibration process, both pistons are in the opposite position to the initial position. The calibration device is preferably operated with air, which can be supplied with up to 6 bar. The EP gas bell pistons convince by highest measuring accuracy up to 0.15% (k=2).

ISO/IEC 17025:2017 UKAS accredited calibrations are available across a large range of our traceability schedule for flowmeters, gas flow, air flow, fluid flow for both oil and water flowmeters, pressure, oxygen clean pressure, electrical, frequency, time, temperature simulation and supplemented with a host of standard traceable calibration services. UKAS accredited calibration services (Laboratory 0604) and thermal fluid component testing services to a wide scope of industries whilst maintaining a reputation for quality, cost effectiveness, impartiality and reliability. Our specialist UKAS accreditation offerings for aviation, automotive, medical, environmental and pharmaceutical sectors provide worldwide acceptance for many of the ASTM, EPA, ISO, BSI, DIN and SAE standardized test protocols.

Our calibration laboratory is set-up to perform measurements of impedance and insertion loss over the frequency range 20Hz to 500MHz with automated systems to offer cost-effective results. Products manufactured by Cranage EMC Technology Limited are also backed up by extensive calibration facilities for the measurement of inductance, capacitance, and resistance. Many of our products have been independently calibrated with UKAS traceability and this has served to verify our measurement results. LISN's, PLIP's and CDN's are initially supplied calibrated with results documented according to our calibration procedures. Annual re-calibration is also provided on a standard traceability basis. You would receive a bound calibration record for each product submitted with measurement results and details of procedures used. This service is quoted inclusive of return UK carriage cost and is offered on a 5 days turnaround.

The high-precision calibration laboratory is accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 for flow calibration of flowing gases. The EP calibration laboratory is accredited by the DAkkS according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 for calibrations of gases in-house and on-site under the procedure number D-K-21444-01-00. We offer calibrations for gas flow measurement as well as temperature, humidity and pressure measurements. In addition, we calibrate all measured variables of the test bench directly at your site. Our experienced technicians also check the harmonious interaction of all sensors, so that the entire system is perfectly tuned. The opening of our new calibration laboratory in Asia enables us to offer you even better service internationally.
