Port equipment - Import export

Used for PON station equipment with capacity up to 32 ports, its power supply equipment and backup equipment united in one node. It is possible to install up to 9U active and passive equipment in the top part of the cabinet.

NSBon-15 and NSBon-14 are surge protectors keeping any IP devices with Ethernet 10/100/1000Base-T interface safe from lightning strike and other forms of electrical interference such as power surges and spikes over networking cables. The devices support PoE transmission in accordance with IEEE 802.3af/3at/3bt recommendations, regardless of the transmission method, as well as passive PoE. The NSBon-15 has eight shielded RJ45 Jacks for connecting four equipment ports. The NSBon-14 has two shielded RJ45 Jack for connecting one equipment port. These protectors utilize Gas Discharge Tubes (GDT) for each wire in RJ45 connector in order to protect all eight wires of networking cable including PoE. The “Line” sockets and the “Equipment” sockets of each port are located on different sides of the case opposite each other. There are also two contacts on the case, GND1 for connection directly to the potential equalization bus (PE) and GND2 for connection to a ground point inside the enclosure.
