The leg is made of beech wood, renowned for its strength and longevity. It has a diameter of 5 cm and is mounted by screwing the nut onto the M8 stud with a long thread of 21 mm. It is matte finished and varnished with natural varnish. The standard height is 28 cm, but we can make other sizes to order. For atypical lengths select the desired range, complete and then specify the desired size in the "Order Notes" section before placing the order.

The slats are produced from beech wood, which is considered to be the most qualitative and durable wood for bed bases. Their manufacturing process consists of hot pressing the layers of veneer, glued with a special non-toxic and ecological adhesive, to give the spars a slightly flexible consistency. This flexibility helps when considerable weight is placed on the bed frame, as the slats can flex and then return to their original shape. This is a notable difference to metal box springs that remain crooked and do not retain their original shape. The side members can be purchased either raw, to be drilled later as needed, or machined and ready for installation. You will also need to purchase the end rails depending on the width of the bed frame (800mm, 900mm, 1200mm, 1400mm, 1600mm or 1800mm). The central spar, which has a thickness of 35 mm, is used in the construction of matrimonial double mattresses.

The slats are made by industrial processing of the treated beech log. Beech is a hardwood, the most qualitative and weight-resistant, compared to birch, poplar or others. The lamellas are formed by pressing sheets of technical veneer at a high temperature, after first passing them through an adhesive. Thus, the lamellae become elastic, and even if they flex slightly under the action of weight, they return to their original shape when they are no longer subject to weight. The slats are available in the natural color of the wood, but also colored (silver, carbon, mahogany, red, blue), for those with a width of 3.8 cm and 0.8 cm. An antistatic carbon film is attached to the surface of the colored slats, which has the role of eliminating electromagnetic waves and rejecting radiation. As a rule, curved slats are used for bed bases, whereas straight ones can be used for sofas and other furniture. In our product range we have various blade sizes.
