These innovative emitters harness Cortec's patented VpCI® technology, releasing a vapor that forms an invisible, protective layer on metal surfaces.The unique breathable membrane allows gradual vapor release while blocking contaminants, ensuring consistent protection for up to 24 months.Ideal for various metals including steel, cast iron, copper, brass, aluminium, and silver, VpCI® 105 emitters shield against moisture, oxygen, salts, and pollutants. Membrane cartridge filters ensure the complete removal of microorganisms in sterile liquid applications, or spoilage organism removal to ensure shelf life in food & beverage applications. Known as final, sterile or POU filters, membranes are usually the last filter used in a manufacturing process prior to packaging. All membrane cartridges are constructed from material meeting USFDA Title 21 and USP Class VI. The filter also meets the current USP requirements for extractables. All are steam sterilizable and integrity testable.

Separation of dissolved gases with membrane degasification Gaseous components can be removed by conventional technologies, like e.g. percolators columns (for example CO2-percolators). Alternatively, gaseous components in water can be removed with very high retention rates by membrane degasification, which is working with hydrophobic membranes and a partial pressure drop. The advantages of the membrane degasification are low operation costs as well a s compact design.
