In the laboratory of Istanbul Dokum, for all productions, chemical analysis, mechanical yield – tensile – elongation tests, and when required hardness tests, UT, MT and MPI tests are provided.

Raw materials arriving at our warehouse come to the quality control laboratory in accordance with the sampling procedure, and if the analysis results are found appropriate, their entry into the company is approved. Raw materials are analyzed based on European Pharmacopoeia 10.8 methods, based on certain control criteria. These controls; visual control, solubility control, density determination, moisture determination, pH determination, viscosity determination. After the approvals, weighings are carried out in accordance with GMP in a special weighing room equipped with HEPA filters and humidity controls. The controls made on finished products are; visual control, solubility control, organoleptic control, volumetric and quantitative control, moisture determination, pH measurement, density determination, viscosity determination, hardness determination, diameter-thickness measurement, quantification (HPLC), gas chromatography.

Our quality department serves with an independent quality assurance unit and chemical, physical control, microbiology and production control laboratories that form the pillars of quality control. Quality assurance, quality control, licensing, R&D and laboratory service units in our quality directorate carry out all activities that will ensure that the consumer encounters a quality product both during and after production. Uno sampler made of stainless steel AISI 316L (1.4404)/PTFE with a closed sample chamber for point sampling from a predetermined sampling depth. Bürkle zone samplers are used for taking samples of bulk goods of any kind. The big advantage of zone samplers is that all-layer samples can be collected from all layers of the container. Various bulk goods can be collected with the lances, from the finest powder to large grains such as corn or nuts. The zone samplers are available in different lengths. 55 cm (only Multi, Uno and All-layer sampler) especially suitable for sacks, 85 cm long (especially for barrels, tubs, mixed containers) and 150 cm as well as 250 cm (only Jumbo sampler) for big bags, silos, tanks. The core sampler can be used to take samples of bulk materials which can easily become stuck or settle during sampling due to their particle form. In comparison to standard all-layer samplers for bulk materials, the two-part core sampler has no gap dimensions in which the medium can become stuck while it is being removed. This makes it possible to take a proper sample of powders and granulates through multiple layers, for example glass balls or metal powders. Depending on the size, the stainless steel sampler can be used for a wide range of different containers, for example big bags or small containers. The bulk material sampler takes a representative core sample and is ideal for use in various laboratory and industrial applications.

It is possible to take multiple samples from bulk goods with this sampler quickly and easily. Emptying has been greatly simplified and in this model takes place via the tip. Meat sampler for taking bacteriological samples from the surfaces of dead animals in slaughterhouses and in butchers‘ shops (cattle, pigs, sheep, goats and horses). The BeefSteaker is used to cut out a 25 mm round sample from the animal‘s skin. The stainless steel AISI 420 cutter allows the sample to be cut out easily. The BeefSteaker can also be used for other sampling purposes (histology, medicine, food and semi-luxury articles, cheese factories, agriculture). The BeefSteaker can be steam-sterilised or flamed. A hole in the crown prevents air compression and is used for ejecting the sample.

The sample containers sterile are sterilised by irradiation and correspond to a sterility assurance level Sterile SAL 10-3 (according to ISO 11137) inside. The handy and universally applicable sample jar is easy to fill, smooth-walled and free of undercuts, therefore it can be emptied completely. It is an excellent universal container for all liquid and solid contents. The attached lid of the sample container can be opened with one hand and fixed at a 90° angle. This leaves the other hand free to take samples. Liquid/condensate in the lid runs into a collecting channel integrated in the lid, nothing is lost, nothing can drip off. The sample boxes are closed while hot during production. Due to this process, the sample boxes close absolutely tightly, as the lid and box adapt optimally during the cooling process. The sample container made of PP is highly transparent, the contents of the container can be easily recognised.
