Based on the Telit HE910-EUD module, the TER-HX910-EU is a complete Cellular terminal solution for GSM/UMTS applications. The Telit module handles all the GSM/UMTS processing with PYTHON script. The device has ADC and GPIO inputs. UMTS/HSPA+ works with 850/900/2100MHz. Communication is established with modem RS232 and/or Modem USB. The RS232 is a D-Type 9 pin connector. The USB is a type B USB and is a high retention connector. When using the cellular antenna, use the 5 band antenna with 2.5 dB gain. The device has a SIM slot with a push mechanism. On the same side of RS232 interface are the AUX interface and two LED status lights. The AUX interface is a male 6-pole plug connector. Two LED lights, green and red, indicate ON and OFF status. If the modem is turned OFF, the Watchdog option will auto start the modem after each 30 minutes. The TER-HX910-EU hardware components are fully compliant with the EU RoHS and WEE Directives.
