Axial fans are a type of fan that creates airflow through a fan wheel that rotates around an axis and moves the air parallel to the axis. Axial fans can also be called propeller fans and are usually delivered as a complete unit consisting of fan wheel, motor and cover. Typically axial fans are direct driven with the impeller mounted on the motor shaft. There are also other designs such as e.g. belt-driven or with shaft bearing and coupling. The axial fan’s strength is to transport large volume flows at low pressures. At higher pressures, a centrifugal fan may be a better choice. To reach higher pressures with axial fans, these can be connected in series. Usually, the efficiency of an axial fan is comparatively lower than that of a centrifugal fan. But by using guide rails, diffusers and other accessories, an axial fan can reach the same or higher efficiency. The flow of axial fans can be regulated with vane or damper or speed regulation.

As the need for fans that are used in applications subject to high temperatures is constantly on the increase, SEPA EUROPE is presenting its latest sleeve bearing fan equipped with MagFix technology that can be used for operating temperatures up to 85 °C. An added advantage is the extraordinary high life expectancy of 210.000 h (MTBF). This fan is not only available in the standard sizes but also as a tailor-made solution. With the high operating temperature of up to 85 °C, this innovative fan generation by SEPA EUROPE opens up a wide range of new applications for the user, not least the automotive sector. The term MagFix stands for magnetic fixation (positioning) of the fan propeller/rotor in sleeve bearing fans.

The balancing process includes a measurement of the workpiece unbalance and mass correction. Both operations are controlled by the measurement processing module with ROTORTEST 9.5 software. Static balancing is the process of addressing the unbalance of a component in a single plane only, as opposed to dynamic balancing. Static balance is at play when the center of gravity of a unit is on the axis of rotation. This machine balances a wide variety of rotors including grinding wheels disc brakes refinery plates fans composite material propellers clutches pulleys tires wheels CIMAT Static Balancers Low operating and maintenance cost Low maintenance Simply set it up, no groundwork is needed Nonrotation, simple and precise balancing No safety device required Short measuring times Efficient measuring unit operation by Touch Screen If you would like to know more about static balancing, please get in touch with our team today by calling

The propellers of AKAP sleeve fans, which can meet high air flow rates and high pressure losses, are made of aluminum raw material and they provide the chance to change the flow and pressure by adjusting the blade angles. They can be produced with a motor that can withstand temperatures of 200, 300, 400 °C for 120 minutes upon request.
