Lavender oil is produced from fresh flowers of narrow -leaved lavender called a medical lavender. Lavender comes from the Mediterranean region and is grown in many countries, also in Poland. In natural medicine, lavender oil is used for rubbing in muscle, joint pain, as well as for bruised places. In the form of inhalation, it is used with nasal infected, larynx and inflammation spit. It is a very popular addition to cosmetics - it helps to deal with acne, smoothes the skin and reduces sebum production. The main ingredients of the oil - Linalol and Linalili acetate - can efficiently reduce the hyperactivity of the central nervous system, in other words help in falling asleep. For this purpose, just apply a few drops of oil on the pillow. The pleasant lavender aroma also improves concentration and helps in learning. Lavender, like other essential oils, is widely used and is one of the very few that can be used directly to the skin, without the need for dilution.
