FIRELIGHTER WOOD WOOL The FLASH brand eco firelighter wool is made from natural wood & a natural based wax. The product is suitable for safe, odourless and clean lighting of barbecues, stoves and fireplaces. The firelighter wool is an FSC®-certified product made from 100% renewable raw materials and complies with the standard for barbecue lighters DIN EN 1860-3. The shape of this kindling is often described as a fireball or ignition wool. PRODUCT INFORMATION The ignition wool is produced exclusively in Germany, at the production site of BOOMEX GmbH in Alsfeld. Due to the expansion of the mechanical equipment in recent years, the degree of automation and the production capacity was increased significantly. BOOMEX GmbH operates the most modern production plant for ignition wool in Europe at the Alsfeld plant. In addition to the FLASH brand, many of the private brands of BOOMEX customers from the food retail trade, discount stores and the DIY industry are produced here.

Organic chamomile hydrolate is obtained by steam distillation of Chamomila recutita. This is a species of herbaceous plant native to Europe and temperate regions of Asia. Ecological chamomile hydrolate is a perfect product for use in natural cosmetics thanks to its calming and revitalizing properties on the skin and strengthening the hair. It is a 100% organic and natural product, without preservatives or additives.

Organic chufa vegetable oil is obtained by first cold pressing Cyperus esculentus’ roots. A herbaceous plant native to Europe and Asia, which was later introduced to America. It is a species that grows easily, except in areas with very cold climates. It stands out in its composition for its high content of oleic acid, which helps to smooth and improve the elasticity of the skin. Vitamin E blurs imperfections and protects the skin from the sun’s rays. Chufa vegetable oil is a natural product from organic crops.

Camelina vegetable oil is obtained by first cold pressing Camelina sativa’s seeds. A species of herbaceous plant from northern Europe and central Asia. It has a large proportion of polyunsaturated fatty acids in its composition, with a majority of omega 3 that nourishes and softens the skin and omega 6 that prevents water loss; omega 9 helps tissue regeneration. The presence of phytosterols and vitamin E stands out as natural antioxidants. Camelina vegetable oil is a 100% natural product with multiple applications in skin and hair care.

The Precision Tube is PAF's top-of-the-range technical product. It is manufactured to EN10305-2 standard and used in the best precision mechanical parts manufacturing plants in Tunisia and Europe. Drawing processes make it possible to obtain tubes specific to each application, by playing on steel grades, mechanical characteristics, reduced dimensional tolerances and final surface finish.

is the oil of the evening primrose. It is a biennial plant that blossoms after two years for the first time. These blossoms contain the seeds, from whom the oil is obtained. The evening primrose grows in its original country North America and Mexico with over 120 different types. At the beginning of the 17th century it came as ornamental plant to Europe. Nowadays the evening primrose can be found in South Africa, Asia, New Zealand and South America. The plant is very undemanding and grows perfectly on dry and stony ground. During the first year the plant only grows leaves close to the ground. During the second year the plant reaches a height of 150 cm. The flowering period is from july to september during the evening hours. That is why the plant has its name evening primrose. One fruit contains up to 200 seeds, each seed is about 1.2 to 2.2 mm long and contains 15 % - 20 % vegetable oil.

“Belladonna” Atropa belladonna – in use medically since ancient times, this solanaceous herb is among the most dangerous poisonous plants in Europe and was named after Atropos (inevitable, from greek mythology). In Renaissance Italy the pupil-dilating effects of the poison Hyoscyamin led to the name "bella donna" (Italian: "beautiful woman"). Half plant and half woman the sculpture is a symbol of duality, tension and beauty in life. This 2 metres high sculpture is the work of over 2000 hours and made mainly from Murano glass. The artist Irene Magdalena Orecher concieved perfectly the colours reflecting the symbolic drama of life, from the calm blue-green through the ominous purple to the vibrant red and vivid bright yellow. Shining stainless steel edging underscores the shape of the sculpture, combining both ancient and contemporary art forms. The metal works were created in cooperation with Berndt Schweizer, Master Craftsman.
