CONEC has developed an ODVA compatible IP67 Fiber Optic connection for harsh indoor and outdoor environment. The new system is a bayonet locking enclosure with integrated LC Duplex Connectors and Adapters. The bayonet locking enclosure provides an easy and secured connection also under adverse conditions. The available materials for the housings are plastic, plastic metallized or nickel plated zinc die-cast for extreme harsh conditions. The LC connections are available for single mode or multimode transmission, depending on the requirements of the operated system. The major application for these connectors are connections from base stations to the transmission modules based on antenna poles or for network connections on the last mile into end users homes. This program is supplemented by preassembled patch cables in various lengths.

The MIL-83526 DM (Diamond Multipurpose) connector incorporates four (4) termini utilizing Diamond's two-component ferrules, assembled with the company's Active Core Alignment (ACA) process for unparalleled fiber core concentricity. This connector is also available with electrical contacts for hybrid E/O applications. The MIL-83526 DM connector is available for MM, SM (PC/APC) and smallcore single mode fiber, polarization-maintaining (PM) fiber, and other specialty fiber types. Furthermore, Diamond‘s splice-on termini can be field terminated with the Diamond ZEUS D50 HE fusion splicer, allowing for in-service repairs and custom installation.

The special feature of the new DiaFlex fan-out connection is that the fiber whips can be removed and replaced via a connector system in the divider. This provides greater flexibility in the installation of fiber-optic networks. Cable ends can be replaced flexibly, quickly and without spending a great deal of time or money, and cable installations can be extended as is necessary. Thanks to the feed-in cap, which has a small design, preassembled cables can be inserted directly into pipes or cable ducts. There is therefore no need for expensive splices. The cable and the fiber whips are manufactured in the fiber design and quantity that you requested, inspected and delivered with the corresponding test reports.
