The aggressive cutter profile allows for significant material removal in a short time, with reduced heat generation to protect both tool and workpiece, crucial for stainless steel to prevent discoloration. EXCOR PERIGOL VCI 230 is used to provide corrosion protection for ferrous metals, steel, cast iron, copper and aluminium alloys as well as fully or partially galvanised steel. Solvent-free PERIGOL VCI 230 contains vaporising corrosion inhibitors and may be applied via immersion, spraying or brushing. This product has been specially developed for the protection of metallic cavities. Thanks to the VCI it contains, coating the floor of a case suffices to protect the inner walls from corrosion. PERIGOL VCI 230 is compatible with a wide variety of engine and gear oils, meaning as a rule it does not have to be removed after shipment. In direct contact with metal surfaces PERIGOL VCI 230 forms an oily, non-wipeproof film on the metal surfaces which may be removed using aqueous alkaline media.

Polycrystalline diamond (PCB) is a synthetic, extremely hard composite mass of diamond particles randomly oriented in a metal matrix. It is manufactured under high pressure and temperatures from selected diamond particles. Because of its fundamental hardness, CBN makes it possible to machine steels with hardnesses up to 70 HRC. The ability of CBN to withstand high speeds and feed rates, along with its good tool life, stable inserts and a precision milling machine guarantee unequalled process reliability, performance and cost effectiveness.
