Individual filled gas springs are excluded from replacement. Gas springs are maintenance-free, self-contained systems that are filled with nitrogen under high pressure. For end-of-travel damping and lubrication, a defined amount of oil is also contained inside. The gas springs contain a nonreturn valve in a threaded pin on the pressurised pipe, which allows the pushing force to be lowered at a later time. Gas pressure springs in the sizes 04/12 and 06/15 must be stored and installed with the piston rod extending downwards. As of size 08/19, storage and installation in any orientation is possible. Keep in mind, however, that end-of-travel damping is effective only when the piston rod extends downwards. As a consequence of the physical properties when filling a gas spring, a tolerance range of ±5 % results for the rated pushing force. Gas springs are filled with nitrogen under high pressure and under no circumstances should they be opened or overloaded.

The preferred field of application for the (gas) hydraulic industrial buffer (COMPENSER®) of the S-series is in the medium to heavy engineering industry sector. As a heavy duty shock absorber it is used in large crane systems (e.g. harbour crane, shipyard crane or container crane), metallurgical plants, rolling mills, loading systems or as end stop integrated in a rail buffer stop. Design & Function: The gas-filled inner tube 2 enters the outer tube 9. The damping medium flows from the pressure chamber 6 through the throttle orifices 8 of the metering tube 7 into the volume balance chamber 5. The separating piston 4 simultaneously moves in the direction of the impact cap 1 and compresses the nitrogen gas filling. In the gas space 3, the energy is stored which is required for the reset of the inner tube. When the inner tube 2 returns to the initial position, the separating piston 4 moves in the opposite direction and presses the damping medium back into the pressure chamber 6.

The COMPACT 7-valve filling monobloc is a solution designed for small wineries producing prestigious wines. It can be equipped with a capper for crown caps and dedicated to bottling bottle-refermented craft beer. The central star positions 7 bottles under the taps, which are filled through the tank's descent. While these bottles are capped upon exit, one by one, another set of 7 bottles is positioned under the tank. The semi-annular filling tank made of stainless steel allows the use of nitrogen in the tank. Filling occurs through a slight pressure of inert gas, preventing the dispersion of volatile components.
