The programmable gateways of the BL20 (IP20) and BL67 (IP67) I/O systems can be used as autonomous PLCs for control tasks or as network devices for fast signal preprocessing in the periphery. For this, the gateways have a fieldbus interface for PROFINET, Modbus TCP, Ethernet/IP™ or PROFIBUS-DP; in addition the gateways support standard Ethernet and serial communication. The extension modules communicate via the internal module bus with the gateway and can be configured independently of the fieldbus protocol.

RockWorks is a real-time management system for RockNet and enhances the remote operation of complex widespread networks. Each RockNet device can be monitored and con gured on screen according to the front panel operation. RockWorks enables labeling of each device and channel within the network. The software provides alarm indications and allows for a network- wide default reset of channel parameters and naming. For a more comfortable setup, RockWorks also features an offline editor. The input voltage must be greater than the output voltage. No base load is required at the output end. A 26 kHz PWM switching controller is used for this purpose. Input and output are not isolated. The common earth is connected with the voltage converter housing.

UPS IMPULSE Expert series of standby type are compact, reliable and affordable UPS designed to provide power to the load in the absence of the main power source 220V network. The UPS of the Expert series provides switching to batteries when the voltage exceeds the specified limits, but is not designed for operation in networks where the voltage can be significantly lower or higher than normal for a long time. It has a surge protector, because some of the sockets on the case can be used to connect equipment that does not require backup power, but protection from network noise is desirable. The device has a power saving function and is equipped with connectors to protect equipment connected to the telephone line and the local network.

NSBon-15 and NSBon-14 are surge protectors keeping any IP devices with Ethernet 10/100/1000Base-T interface safe from lightning strike and other forms of electrical interference such as power surges and spikes over networking cables. The devices support PoE transmission in accordance with IEEE 802.3af/3at/3bt recommendations, regardless of the transmission method, as well as passive PoE. The NSBon-15 has eight shielded RJ45 Jacks for connecting four equipment ports. The NSBon-14 has two shielded RJ45 Jack for connecting one equipment port. These protectors utilize Gas Discharge Tubes (GDT) for each wire in RJ45 connector in order to protect all eight wires of networking cable including PoE. The “Line” sockets and the “Equipment” sockets of each port are located on different sides of the case opposite each other. There are also two contacts on the case, GND1 for connection directly to the potential equalization bus (PE) and GND2 for connection to a ground point inside the enclosure.

The CANopen-PN can link any PROFINET IO controller to a CANopen network. The gateway operates as a PROFINET IO device with a maximum of 1440 bytes input data and 1440 bytes output data on the PROFINET IO bus. The CANopen-PN connects CANopen modules with CANopen (CiA 301) applications to e.g. a SIMATIC-S7. A maximum number of 127 CANopen nodes can be connected to the gateway. The CAN high speed (ISO 11898-2) compatible interface allows a maximum data-transfer rate of 1 Mbit/s. The 100 BASE-TX PROFINET IO interface is compatible to IEEE802.3 and runs at 100 Mbit/s. The gateway is designed according to PROFIBUS International Document TC2-09-0002 (CANopen-Integration_7012 d07_Jul09). The PROFINET IO interface and the CAN interface are electrically isolated. The module can be configured via PROFINET IO configuration tool GSDML- Composer. The esd CAN tools (CANreal, CANplot, CANrepro, CANscript, COBview) can be used additionally for CAN diagnostics.

The Microchip Network Interface Card (NIC) ENC28J60T-I/SS is a 10 Mbps Ethernet controller with an integrated PHY and MAC. It is designed to provide a low-cost, low-power solution for connecting microcontrollers to Ethernet networks. The ENC28J60T-I/SS is available in a 28-pin SSOP package and is compatible with the industry-standard 10 Base-T protocol. It supports full-duplex and half-duplex operation and has a maximum current consumption of 160mA. The ENC28J60T-I/SS is suitable for a wide range of applications, including industrial automation, home automation, building automation, and medical device networking. It is also suitable for use in embedded systems, such as those used in consumer electronics, automotive, and IoT applications.

The TER-GP190-WS comes with an internal PYTHON engine and a hardware watchdog. It easily replaces PLC. The TER-GP190-WS uses 2G/GSM/GPRS networks for connection. The device has three LED lights: Error or ERR light which is red, Application or APP light which is yellow and Status or STA light which is green. The RS232 9-pole SUB-D connector is on the same side of the device. TER-GP190-WS has a SMA/M antenna connector and an internal SIM holder. The Inventory Manager regularly scans your Cisco switches and dynamically builds a ‘map’ of the IP network and the connected devices (e.g. phones, computers, laptops, printers). The inventory provides a sound baseline for customer-specific network management applications. The Inventory Manager is a server-based application which periodically can scan up to 10.000 different Cisco switches in a network. An example is the use of the Inventory Manager in certain customer-specific deployment scenarios of our ALM Single Sign-On application. In order to create a mapping between Cisco IP phones in the network and attached computers, laptops or thin clients, the Inventory Manager periodically scans the network and creates the mapping. This mapping ensures that each time someone starts his or her laptop, the right IP phone in the network is associated to that user.
