IKO Roller Bearings are heavy duty bearings with rollers incorporated in a double row. They are nonseparable bearings with a high load rating. They can withstand not only radial loads but axial loads as well, which are supported at the contacts between the shoulders of the inner and outer rings and the end faces of the rollers. They should be used at the fixing side of a shaft. Like needle roller bearings, they are also compact. Roller bearing types include caged, full complement and the type for sheaves, and they can be selected based on the operating conditions. These bearings are used in heavyduty machinery such as construction equipment, and industrial machines.

In this series, the caged cylindrical rollers, AZK, and the complete bearings, AZ, in which AZK are combined with an inner ring (WS) and an outer ring (GS) are available. The cage has a special precise structure which is highly rigid. The cylindrical rollers are outwardly arranged and guided by the cage with exact precision to enable them to withstand heavy loads, even at high rotation speeds.

Cam Followers are bearings with a stud incorporating needle rollers in a thick walled outer ring. These bearings are designed for outer ring rotation with superior rotational performance, a low coefficient of friction and high load capacity. Double Hex Hole Cam Followers have a structure with hexagon sockets at each end of the stud, allowing for use in any mounting location.

These bearings are full complement type bearings incorporating double rows of full complement cylindrical rollers in the outer ring. They can withstand large radial loads. Additionally, the outer ring is guided by the outer ring shoulder and the end face of the cylindrical rollers to the axial direction.

The Mounting Holed Type High Rigidity Crossed Roller Bearing has an integral structure (nonsplit) for both the inner and outer rings, with mounting holes that allows it to be easily attached to equipment. Further it is less subject to peripheral structures such as housing or pressure plate and realizes high rigidity and highaccuracy guidance. Rollers are arranged by intersecting orthogonally between inner ring and outer ring of the single structure. A separator, which can smoothly rotate rollers, is incorporated between rollers. The mounting holes in both inner and outer rings facilitate installation to your equipment. An open type and a sealed type are available. The sealed type incorporates special synthetic rubber sealing.

Slim Type Crossed Roller Bearings are slim bearings having a small outside diameter against the bore diameter and a narrow width. In addition, types with cage, types with separator, and full complement types are available, which can be selected according to the intended use. Crossed Roller Bearings are compact bearings with their rollers alternately crossed at right angles to each other between inner and outer rings. The orthogonal array of rollers allows the bearing to handle complex loads simultaneously from any direction, which makes assembly possible without needing to worry about load direction.

The IKO Super Flexible Nozzle is a compact nozzle used on machine tools to supply and spray cutting oil exactly at a specified location. Since the angle of the nozzle can be easily changed, the oil supply can be concentrated on the working area, and cooling and lubrication can be performed effectively. As a result, cutting resistance is reduced and superior finish is obtained, achieving high machining accuracy. The tool life can also be extended, which can result in cost savings. The Super Flexible Nozzle can be used at the spindle end of machining centers and at the tool holder of an NC lathe.

These Roller Followers are lubricated with CLube, a thermosetting solidtype lubricant which fills the inner space of the bearing. CLube is lubricant made of a lot of lubrication oil and fine particles of superhigh molecular polyolefin that are solidified by heat treatment. As the bearing rotates, the lubricating oil oozes out onto the raceway surface in proper quantities, maintaining the lubrication performance for a long period of time.

These bearings are doublerow, full complement with a low cross sectional height designed for use in sheaves. There are two types, sealed and shield type. They can withstand heavy radial loads and shock loads at comparatively lowspeed rotations, and can also withstand axial loads. It is easy to fix them axially to sheaves using the stop rings of the outer ring. The width of the inner ring is designed to be larger than that of the outer ring, so they require no spacer between sheaves. The structure is stable because the doublerow of rollers can withstand the moment loads caused by rope transition. The surfaces of these bearings are also treated to provide high corrosion resistance.

IKO Shell Type Needle Roller Bearings are lightweight bearings with large load ratings. They employ a shell type outer ring made from a thin specialsteel plate which is accurately drawn, carburized and quenched, thus providing the lowest sectional height among the Needle Roller Bearings. There are two types of bearings available in this series; the caged type and the full complement type. The appropriate type can be selected according to the operating conditions. The caged type has a structure in which the needle rollers are accurately guided by the cage and thrust rings. It is useful for applications at highspeed rotation. The full complement type needle roller bearing, on the other hand, is suitable for heavyload applications at lowspeed rotation. Since these bearings are pressfitted into the housing, no axial positioning fixtures are required. They are ideal for use in massproduced articles that require economy, and have a wide variety of applications.

Cam Followers are bearings with a stud incorporating needle rollers in a thick walled outer ring. These bearings are designed for outer ring rotation with superior rotational performance, a low friction coefficient and high load capacity. CFKRE has a structure with hexagon holes at the end of each stud, making it possible to mount from any location. With an eccentric collar, it also enables easy height positioning adjustment by rotating the stud.

In these bearings, an eccentric collar is assembled with the stud, enabling the outer ring to be positioned easily in the radial direction against the mating track surface. The eccentricity is 0.4 mm to 1.5 mm.

The outer ring of the Standard Type Crossed Roller Bearings is made of two split pieces, which are bolted together to prevent separation during transportation or mounting, enabling easy handling. These bearings are widely used in the rotating parts of industrial robots, machine tools, medical equipment, etc., which require compactness, high rigidity and high rotational accuracy. These bearings have a stepped tapered portion on the stud, making mounting easy by fixing a set screw to the stepped portion thus they are optimal for applications such as pallet change.

The IKO Linear Way U is a linear motion rolling guide with a structure containing a raceway inside the Usection track rail and a slide unit in its interior. With the Ushaped track rail, rigidity against the track rail moment load and torsion is significantly improved. Therefore, it is possible to not only fix the track rail to the mounting base as conventionally done, but to use the track rail as a structure beam, such as a cantilever or doubleended support in machines and equipment.

IKO Combined Type Needle Roller Bearings are combinations of a radial bearing and a thrust bearing. Caged Needle Roller Bearings are used as radial bearings and thrust ball bearings or thrust roller bearings are used as thrust bearings. Separable Roller Followers are assembled by combining an outer ring, inner ring and needle roller cage. They can be separated from one another, so handling is easy. IKO PILLOBALLs are compact selfaligning spherical bushings which can support a large radial load and a bidirectional axial load at the same time. These bearings are available in insert type, diecast type and lubricationfree type depending on the type of sliding surface. In the insert type, a spherical inner ring makes contact with a special copper alloy bushing with superior runin properties. In the diecast type, a spherical inner ring makes direct contact with the bore surface of the body of special zinc diecast alloy. In the maintenancefree type, a spherical inner ring makes contact with a special selflubricating PTFE liner. Thus, a smooth rotational and oscillatory motion can be achieved with superior antiwear and load properties in each type. IKO LBalls are selfaligning Spherical Bushings consisting of a special zinc diecast alloy body and a studded ball which has its axis at right angles to the body. They can perform tilting movement, oscillating movement and rotation with low torque, and transmit power smoothly due to uniform clearance between the sliding surfaces. Their superior wear resistance assures stable accuracy for long periods of time, and maintenance is simple. They are very economical bearings. For these reasons, they are widely used in link mechanisms in automobiles, construction machinery, farm and packaging machines, etc.

Interchange specifications are available. Since the slide unit and track rail dimensions are separate, each can be individually added or exchanged. The slide unit is available in a standard type and wide type, the latter suitable for use with a single track rail. Length of Slide Unit Three stainless steel ball retaining types with the same crosssectional dimensions but different slide unit lengths are available short type, standard type and highrigidity long type. They can be selected according to the application. Stainless Steel and High Carbon Steel Types Stainless steel types, with excellent corrosion resistance, are also available. These bearings are compactly designed, incorporating very thin needle rollers in an outer ring with a small outside diameter relative to the stud diameter. They are used in electronic devices, OA equipment, and small index devices, etc.

As a tapped hole is prepared for the centralized piping on the stud head, this is optimal for applications where centralized oil piping is necessary.

IKO Cam Followers are bearings with a stud that incorporates needle rollers in a thick walled outer ring. These bearings are designed for outer ring rotation and provide superior rotational performance, a low coefficient of friction and high load capacity. In order to effectively increase the loading zone, this bearing is designed to have a smaller radial clearance than general needle roller bearings, so the shock load is lessened and stable long life can be obtained. Since the studs already have threads or steps, they are easy to mount. Cam followers are follower bearings for cam mechanisms and linear motion and have high rigidity and high accuracy. They are used mostly for machine tools, industrial robots, electronic devices, and OA equipment.
