Every Monta customer has the choice of two operating modes: FIFO and FEFO. FIFO or “First in, first out” means that the products that are entered and stocked first are also processed first by the order processing team. Ideal for rotating stock of seasonal products, for example. FEFO or “First expired, first out” means that the least long-lasting products are shipped first, even if they arrive later than another batch during goods receipt, for example. This serves as a quality guarantee for your products, and has a direct impact on customer satisfaction. Looking for a fulfilment party that takes the FEFO or FIFO working methods into account? Monta offers both options! Your choice depends on your requirements. After each goods receipt, our system checks whether there are any existing open orders for this item (back orders). Are there existing back orders for this item? Then these are automatically activated for delivery. Easy!

We have a webshop data dashboard, the Monta portal, where you can track our services in real time. Here, we display, among other things, details of your goods receipt, stock, processed orders, shipped orders and your returns. Naturally, Monta works without order pick lists during the entire order picking process. Generally, an order is picked via a barcode scanner and then assigned to a specific ‘shopping basket’ by a put-to-light system. To be precise, we work using the following picking methods: Single order picking; Batch picking using a cart with x number of crates; Bulk picking and then sorting via e-checkwall; Goods-to-man picking method and then sorting via e-checkwall. We also try to pack to size as much as possible, so that little or even no padding is needed. We work with packing machines that pack to size very precisely.
