The design of these doors is based on their function and security level. Special measures allow Bauporte to produce both aesthetic and secure armoured automatic sliding, curved sliding, swing and balance doors. Bauporte’s custom-made SeqSign® design and specifications constitute proprietary information. This in order to ensure that this information does not fall into the wrong hands. Security doors with extremely high protection and performance levels protect people and safeguard buildings against penetration and violence. Datacentres, Banks, government buildings, shopping malls, law courts, tribunals, the Interagency Security Committee, building regulations (e.g. the approved Document Q in the UK), and regulations to prevent acts of violence require secure band safe armoured buildings. Bauporte works together with the best suppliers in safety glass and armour materials.

Sliding, curved sliding, swing and balance doors are also available in fire resistant versions. Developments in glass and profiles resulted in designs that are able to prevent the spread of fire and/or smoke for 30, 60, 90 or even 120 minutes. Automatic systems ensure that the fire door closes and that separate safe compartments are created.

Sliding doors come with mechanisms installed in the ceiling above the door or incorporated in the floor underneath the door and come in the following designs: Single-winged Double-winged Telescopic straight Straight and curved Bauporte develops the automatic mechanisms for door wings weighing up to 3000kg. The door wings come in stainless steel, aluminium, copper, all-glass, and in fire-resistant, smoke-resistant and sound-proof designs. The largest automatic telescope sliding door Bauporte has ever made is 6000mm wide and 5500mm high! The fully opened entrance can also be heated with heaters.

Swing doors of the type Elegance BDD, come with mechanisms installed in the ceiling above the door or incorporated in the floor underneath the door. They are available in the following designs: Single-winged Double-winged The machines are developed for door wings weighing up to 3000kg. The door wings come in stainless steel, aluminium, copper, all-glass, fire-resistant, smoke-resistant and sound-proof designs. Custom made to the customer’s height and width specifications. The largest automatic swing door we have ever made is in the BMW Store in Eindhoven and is 1250/6200mm!

For department stores and shopping centers, Bauporte developed the folding/ sliding door system. This type of entrance has 180-degree manually operated or automatic revolving doors that can also be moved to the side. Sliding is done manually or electrically. The entrance is heated by heated curtains installed on top. The advantage of these folding/ sliding doors for different types of weather is: Bad weather For disappointing weather, the entrance is protected from outdoor cold yet accessible to people going in and out, with a good draft protection system in the entrance through the connection with the heater and the self-closing doors. People going through can go in comfortably through the various consecutive doors, which can rotate up to 180 degrees. Reasonable weather The door wings can be put into the 90-degree position manually or electrically and are then mechanically or electromechanically locked. In terms of structure and design, our pivot doors are comparable to the DOOR WINGS listed in the Revolving Door mechanisms. The balance door (also called a pivot door or swing door) has its hinge point in the middle instead of on one side. Balance doors come in three designs: manually operated, fully automatic with a mechanism above the balance door, fully automatic with a mechanism in a motor underneath the balance door or fully automatic with a mechanism against the basement roof below. Benefits of a Pivot Door The wind pressure from outside as well as the pressure from the building below are evenly distributed in the balance door, as one side of the door is pulled by the pressure of the building below and the other is pushed by the pressure from outside.
