Iniper MAI (Dimethyl 2,2′azobis(2methylpropionate)) is an white solid which has C10H18N2O4 as chemical formula. Iniper MAI is used as polymerization in the production of polyols and polyester polyols, it is a nonnitrile azoinitiator which is soluble in a wide variety of organic solvents. This substance is also known as 2,2Azobisisobutyric acid dimethyl ester and Dimethyl 2,2′(diazene1,2diyl)bis(2methylpropanoate).
