Desiccated coconut is made from the white flesh of coconuts, also called copra. To desiccate (dehydrate) the copra, it’s first crushed into fine pieces and then dried in a hot air tunnel. The Silica gel non-food with white granules, available in bags from 0.5 to 1,000 grams. The Silica gel non-food desiccant bags with added orange granules (Silica gel Aihua). This bag contains an indicator, the orange granules, which change to a blue-green colour when they are saturated.

We have the right product for every application; available sizes include 500, 750 and 1,000 grams. The largest of these can absorb circa 800 millilitres of water. The 4DRY desiccants are reusable. When the desiccant is saturated and cannot absorb any more moisture, you can easily prepare the product for reuse by drying it in the microwave. Selling under your own label Although it is not possible to purchase desiccants for private use from us directly, we have a network of national and international resellers. If you wish, we can print your company name and logo on our desiccants for the consumer market.

Absorgel Pouches are efective in controlling moisture inside of crates, cartons and other types of packaging to prevent mould, fungus, rust and other moisture related damages. The active ingredient in the Absorgel Pouch is calcium chloride, which has a superior ability to absorb moisture from the surrounding air. Absorgel Pouches can absorb over 10 times more than traditional inbox desiccants. The absorbed water is bound into a gel so that no liquid water is formed.

Absorgel Max can be used for all types of cargo and is especially suitable when the cargo is tightly packed close to the container ceiling and walls. The dessicant is a single-use product and can be disposed as regular waste. The calcium chloride and gelling agent are non-toxic and the polyethylene (PE) plastic is recycable.
