Light Agave syrup is a natural fructose sweetener extracted from Agave Salmeana, Mexico’s blue agave plant. The syrup is harvested from the core of the agave plant, which can weigh anywhere from 23 to 70kg. After removing the plant’s leaves, sap is extracted, filtered and heated to produce agave syrup. It is 1,4 times sweeter than refined sugar and has nearly half of the amount of carbohydrate calories

The low glycemic levels of inulin make it an excellent sugar substitute for diabetics or people with high blood sugar. As a probiotic, agave inulin improves digestive health by promoting the growth of healthy bacteria. Additionally, agave inulin is highly soluble, more so than sugar, and can easily be added to sweeten foods and drinks.

Powdered Agave Sugar is made by finely milling granulated agave sugar into a fine powder. Like granulated agave sugars, it’s approximately 40% sweeter than regular sugar and dissolves easily. In industrial recipes, agave sugar powder is used in the production of hard texture confectionery, hard texture baked goods and anything else that specifically requires a powder sweetener.
