Nettle herb is collected in the mountains and forests of Bulgaria. Flowering period is from April to September months. In Bulgarian folk medicine, nettle is used for rheumatism, rapid heartbeat, dizziness, headache, epilepsy, hysteria, cough, shortness of breath, dropsy, jaundice, hives, diabetes mellitus. Nettle flour is made from dried leaves and tips of the plant. It is a convenient way to enjoy all the benefits of nettle. They all act as antioxidants in the body. The leaves and roots of nettles are rich in many nutrients: The leaves have hemostatic, diuretic, antirheumatic effects; have a beneficial effect on metabolism, reduce blood sugar.
