Example uses are: •Oil pressure warning light in an automobile •Pump controller (turn well pump on and off) •Air compressor control •Industrial process signaling A pressure switch must have a process connection (usually threaded for a pipe or tube) and an electrical contact that is connected to wires or terminals.
