Temperature exchange between a gas and a liquid In the case of air-water heat exchangers (also called gas-water heat exchangers), there is a temperature exchange between a gas (usually air) and a liquid. Finned heat exchangers can cover various areas of application: - heating and evaporating, - cooling and condensing as well as heat recovery. In this context, lamellar heat exchangers are also called air heaters or air coolers. Air-water heat exchangers are often also used as exhaust gas heat exchangers or flue gas heat exchangers in order to recover the energy from warm or hot exhaust gases. Lamella packs for a large exchange area In order to achieve the largest possible exchange surface between the air and the medium (liquid) within the heat exchanger, lamellas or lamella packs are attached to the pipe system.

Temperation of fluids Pillow plates are used everywhere where liquids must be temperated. In dependence of application the liquids can be cooled or heated. Cause of this wide range of applications pillow plates are used in the process industry, in the cooling industry and in a lot of other industries. Pillow plates are also know as heat exchanger plates, evaporator plates, cooling plates /sheets and thermo plates / sheets. Pillow plates as air-/water-heat exchanger Additionally to the temperation of liquids pillow plates are also used as air-/liquid heat exchangers. In case of polluted or wasted air and if there are high demands for cleaning, more and more pillow plates are used as air-/water-heat exchanger. The large exchange surface and the good possibilities for cleaning are important features for this type of heat exchanger.

Boilers of indirect heating of the VTE series of the company "Teplobak" are made of structural steel. The inner surface of the water heater is covered with high-quality enamel, which is certified for use in water supply systems. Depending on the model, heaters of this series can be equipped with one (VTE-1) and two (VTE-2) heat exchangers. Boilers of indirect heating of the VTE series have an inspection flange at the bottom of the tank for periodic maintenance, as well as a hole for mounting the thermoelectric heating element. The water heater is equipped with a magnesium anode for additional anti-corrosion protection of the inner surface. Wide range of available capacities of boilers of series VTE of the company "Teplobak" (160-500 liters) makes it possible to continuously provide consumers with hot water at the sites of various purposes (cottages, country houses, mini-hotels, etc.).

The heat accumulators in this series are made from structural steel S235J, with an inner bioceramic polymer coating containing biocides. This flexible coating prevents cracks from temperature changes and deformations, while biocides protect against pitting corrosion, extending the product's lifespan. These tanks store hot water for systems in hotels, restaurants, residential buildings, and more. Depending on the model, they come with one (VTP-1), two (VTP-2), or three (VTP-3) flanges for mounting heat exchangers and can work in "Turbo-boiler" systems. Models VTP-4 and VTP-5 have a built-in bottom heat exchanger for monovalent DHW systems, with VTP-5 is the ability to mount an additional upper flange exchanger. VTP-6 features two fixed heat exchangers for bivalent systems, with the lower connected to low-temperature sources (solar collectors, heat pumps) and the upper to high-temperature sources (gas, electric boilers). An inspection flange is provided for maintenance.
