The demands on the quality and efficiency of sewage treatment plants are growing from year to year, not least due to rising energy and disposal costs. Sampling dipper made of stainless steel V2A (1.4301) with extended, completely closed handle. The sample beaker has no openings or indentations to an immersion depth of approx. 500 mm. The closed design of the rod makes the scoop ideal for sampling water from wells, sludge, wastewater or liquid manure. The beaker is steam-sterilisable and completely flame-resistant, which makes it easy to sterilise at the point of use.

Lipp systems are modular and can be extended, modified or integrated into existing systems WITH EASE. Biogas plants from Lipp are based on the so called, wet fermentation. Through a 2 stage process, i.e., via regulation by an upstream hydrolysis stage or other substrate pre treatment, input materials are prepared so that the anaerobic process can run optimally in the digester. Since it is the most flexible and the biological processes are best kept controllable Lipp favours the SBR process. This is also particularly suitable for anaerobic wastewater treatment, sludge digestion and is also used in agricultural biogas deposits. This means first that Lipp biogas plants are substrate flexible and allow an intensive use of the available digester area. Secondly, that with low self sustaining energy requirements, a high degradation rate is achieved. It is interesting to note that Lipp’s digester can be operated not just in the SBR process (Sequence Batch Reactor).

The stainless steel probe LMK 387 was developed for level and gauge measurement in wastewater, sludge or water courses. The mechanical robustness of the front-flush ceramic diaphragm faciliates an easy disassembly and cleaning of the probe in case of service. Compared to the level probe LMK 382 the outside-diameter is only 22 mm, which allows an easy installation and backfitting in 1" tubes or in cramped fitting conditions. An IS-version is also available. Microbial powder formulation designed to reduce mud build-up in ponds AG120 is a microbial powder formulation designed to reduce organic sludge build-up in ponds used for irrigation systems, wastewater treatment, etc. Ponds experiencing excessive organic sludge can benefit from this treatment as it is a cost-effective alternative to mechanical drainage which requires equipment (pumps, mechanical shovels, etc.) and whose sludge must be removed by time-consuming, expensive and potentially damaging operations to the bottom of the ponds.

The Waterpilot FMX21 transmitter with capacitive, oil-free ceramic measuring cell is typically used in the process and environmental applications for hydrostatic level measurement. With HART output, the measuring ranges can be freely adjusted and a density-compensated level measurement can be activated. It is certified for drinking water and offers integrated temperature measurement. Versions for applications in wastewaters and sludges or usage in salt water are also available.
