Lateral expansion joints absorb movements vertical to the bracing plane. The reaction forces caused by the internal pressure are absorbed by the joint mounting. Applying braced expansion joints pressure stress can be absorbed, while fixed bearings can be dimensioned smaller. In case a 3-hinge-system cannot be applied due to missing space, special-purpose solutions like pressure-balanced expansion joints can be installed. The Galleon Race ride consist of a circular development track with depressions and two “cat’s back”. The rail is supported by a steel horse structure, connected to the central body by radial longeron and tie rods. The whole metal structure is hot-dip galvanised. Twelve cars run along the rail, connected to a central rotor by radial arms (sweeps). The foot-boards approaching the cars consists of an aluminium tread plate. All electric and pneumatic equipment is fitted inside the central body, on which the central rotor is fixed. The ride moves by means of 1 self-braking A.C. gear-motor fixed to the central rotor and controlled by Frequency Drive.

The Musik-Express ride consists of a circular development track with depressions and three cat backs. The rail is supported by a steel horse structure, connected to the central body by radial longeron and tie rods. The whole metal structure is hot-dip galvanised. Twenty cars run along the rail and are connected to a central rotor by radial sweeps. The foot-boards approaching the cars consists of an aluminium tread plate. Electronically operated lighting is composed of cabochons. The covering canvas is made of fireproof material (class 2) and panelling of the cars are fibreglass made. The Waltzer consists of a circular undulatory track. The rail is supported by a steel horse structure, connected to the central body through long bars and radial tie rods. The whole metal structure is hot-dip galvanized. The floor consists of an aluminum plates and has 7 independent gondolas which rotate on themselves using the undulating rotation of the entire floor during the ride. All the gondolas are equipped with a pneumatic brake to allow to the passengers a safe ascent and descent. All the electric and pneumatic equipment are assembled inside the center of the ride, where is attached the central rotor. The center of the ride consists of a square structure to be bolted to the foundation. The body of the cars are made of fiberglass. The ride moves by means of 7 A.C. self-braking gearmotors, controlled by a Frequency Drive.

The tie rod ends are the parts that transmit the movement to the wheels when you turn the steering wheel. Tie rod head consists of joint and body. In agricultural vehicles, rod ends are evaluated in two classes as female rod ends and male rod ends.

The moment created by the driver to the steering wheel is transmitted with the help of gears. The motion transmitted to the pump by the steering valve transfers to the wheel carrier and the axle arm via the steering cylinder tie rod.

It is the connector that transmits the movement given from the steering wheel to the tie rod end, which enables the wheels to rotate with respect to the vertical axis. The tie rod that transmits the force coming from the steering valve should be at an oscillating angle to ensure maximum rotational movement of the wheels.
