GEM F470 - F520 - F670 CARTON SEALERS WITH MANUAL ADJUSTMENT - AUTOMATIC FLAP CLOSER AND SIDE DRIVE BELTS Carton sealer with manual dimensioning and and automatic flap closer. It folds automatically the four upper flaps and seals with auto-adhesive tape the top and bottom of batches of uniform size, American-type boxes. The upper taping unit has a patented system which, by regulating a spring, enables the subsequent weight on the box to be preset and therefore any differences in height of the boxes to be absorbed. The boxes are fed by lateral conveyor belts, driven by a single motor thus optimising even sliding of the boxes and ensuring perfect alignment of the upper and lower flaps which in turn guarantees perfect sealing.

TAPING MACHINE MOD. FP 9036 WITH MANUAL ADJUSTMENT AND 2 LATERAL DRIVE BELTS The taping machines series FP9036 and FP9037 are used in semiautomatic lines for the quick and safe closure of boxes using adhesive tape. The two taping heads simultaneously apply a strip of tape above and below the box. Depending on the size of the boxes (height and width), the operator must adjust the taping machine using handy handwheels. In the FP9036 model the structure of the machine body is in painted steel sheet and the cartons are dragged through 2 side drive belts. Semi-automatic line consisting of taping machine FP9036 with side straps (or FP9037 with straps above and below) for closing the upper and lower flap of the box and special plan for loading products. To facilitate the packaging operation of the products, an idle conveyor roller with boxes-stopper plan has been positioned before the taping machine. In this way it is possible to block and fill securely, quickly and easily the box not yet taped simply taking the products from a plan or from an adjacent container. Then, with a simple push, the operator will move the box in the taping machine.

The proposed semi-automatic line includes a GEM 52 taping machine for boxes with side drive belts. Before the taping machine, a PACK POINT 08 box former was positioned, which makes it faster and easier to form and fill the boxes. Once the boxes have been filled, it is possible to advance them towards the taping line by pressing the appropriate button on the former.

PACK POINT 08 - CASE ERECTOR Semiautomatic carton erector. It forms the bottom of uniform size batches of American type boxes, with operator. Operation is simple , just insert the open box in the case erector. The four bottom flaps are folded and the box is automatically locked in position for filling. A pneumatic pusher makes the expulsion of the box to a taping machine . The PACK POINT 08 when combined with a taping machine is a compact and productive semi-automatic packaging line. The machine is equipped with 4 wheels with brakes.

Combining the erector to a line (taping base, filling floor and taping machine) it is possible to create the boxes as they need, without engaging spaces for accumulation. The trainer will automatically form boxes, taking them from the side stock and by bending the four bottom flaps. The settings relating to boxes, speed size etc .. are all adjustable by a convenient front panel. The operation can be set automatically or manually. Furthermore, by installing the automatic Start/Stop system equipped with a photocell, placed on the taping base, the F2000 trainer waits for the operator to free the taping base from the box, before proceeding with the formation of another box.
