Sunflower husk - Import export

Sunflower husks are burned as fuel to power oil mills, but only half of the hulls can be used on-site for energy production. The remaining half have to be transported off-site to provide energy or for other purposes, such as composting, bedding material, or as a low-quality roughage for livestock. However, they are light in weight and bulk because of their low density, and are therefore costly and impractical to transport. For sunflower seed oil manufacturer or sunflower seed processors, how to deal with useless husk has become an annoying problem.

The Black sunflower seeds are medium sized and deep black. This black oil sunflower seed has more meat than a regular sunflower seed and the outer husk is softer so even smaller birds can crack into the seed. It is rated the number one food for wild birds by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

The Sunflower Seeds Shelling Production Line is a convenient processing line with high efficiency and less labor designed by our company for customers with large capacity requirements. It is a combined production line led by KTF5-3000 sunflower seeds shelling machine. The line is designed to confectionery sunflower seeds and remove the husk from the sunflower seeds before pressing the oil. The line processes oil sunflower, from which oil is then pressed. Description of the Line for Sunflower Dehulling (oil pressing)： Intake and Cleaning: Sunflower is cleaned from larger and smaller impurities on Grain Impurity Screen Cleaner with an aspiration pre-cleaner. After cleaning, the sunflower is sorted. The Grain Grade Cleaner machine gains a dimensional spectrum of seeds suitable for dehulling. This is followed by destoning on a 125 MODEL DE-STONER.
