Steel tape works in partnership with supamag® magnetic tape by providing a receptive surface to which flexible magnetic material such as supamag® magnetic tape can be applied. This approach is commonly used in industries that utilise imagery, signage or informative displays such as retail or warehousing to magnetically mount printed media. By using corresponding widths of steel tape and magnetic tape the receptive surface to which the magnetic tape is applied is discreetly hidden away behind the mounted media or signage. Once the steel tape has been aligned and mounted to a surface printed graphics or signage to which magnetic tape has been applied can quickly be installed with no effort.

As you are able to receive the strip brush with the bristles facing outwards, it is no problem for Kullen-Koti to produce the same brushes with the bristles facing inwards. Even with these brushes you have a dimensional range that cannot be reached with any other brush construction. The strip brushes in arch form cannot only be produced in half circle form, but also in every other separation form (for example 45°). Flexible in nature and application, supamag® magnetic tape is used across many industries for mounting material or items directly to steel or other ferrous surfaces. Where a ferrous surface is not present, supamag® magnetic tape can be used in conjunction with our adhesive-backed steel tape to provide a surface to which the magnetic tape will grip. Typical applications include magnetically mounting printed media or signage that can be changed quickly and easily. All of our supamag® magnetic tape is UV coated on the magnetic face as standard, preventing the tape from marking the media or product to which it is applied as well as the individual handling the tape. This is especially useful to the print industry where it reduces the need to reprint due to printed media becoming marked and unusable.

We offer a range of double sided, high tack, pressure sensitive, solvent acrylic adhesives, including foam adhesive for use on uneven surfaces or where shock absorption is required. tesa® adhesives and our own adhesives are immediately usable, temperature resistant, provide high shear resistance and contain plasticiser barriers to maintain performance. We have the ability to bond adhesive to flexible magnetic sheet, flexible magnetic extrusion, flexible ferrous sheet and steel tape to your specification. The choice of adhesive will usually be dependant upon the intended application for the finished product. In addition to the branded adhesives supplied by tesa® we also offer our own adhesives as an alternative option.
