Because of its direct touch and toleranced fit, the sleeve coil heater allows a very good heat transmission to the nozzle. In all our HotMicroCoil heaters with reflection sleeve the assembly of a thermocouple is possible and recommended for bigger diameters and power.

SPIROL manufactures Coiled Spring Pins out of 316 stainless steel to meet specific application requirements. Type 316 stainless steel is similar to 302/304 stainless steel with a slightly higher nickel content and the addition of molybdenum. The molybdenum content increases the chemical resistance of this alloy greatly. 316 exhibits superior pitting resistance against sea water, acetic acid vapors, chlorides, sodium and calcium brines, hypochlorite solutions, phosphoric acid, and the sulfite liquors and sulfurous acids used in the paper and pulp industry. This alloy is also austenitic, non-magnetic and non-hardenable using conventional methods. 316 stainless steel has better mechanical properties at elevated temperatures than 302/304 and offers excellent mechanical integrity at subzero temperatures. Stainless Band’s in-house slitting line offers the capability for slitting up to 1250mm wide coil x 0.20 - 1.50mm thickness in 304/316L/321 and 430/409. Other grades are available on request. Also offering material as PE or PVC coated/with foil. Coil sizes range from 200kgs to 3500kgs depending on final widths. This unique line means Stainless Band can handle coils up to 8.5 tonnes on-site made from stainless steel AISI 304/316. This will reduce pricing and also improve delivery times to clients for wide coil and also standard products that Stainless Band provide. They offer good formability, corrosion resistance, toughness and good mechanical properties. As a result they are widely used for insulation and engineering applications. These grades are non-magnetic in the annealed condition. The density of our wide coil is 8.03kg/cm3-0.29 Ibs/in3. The modus of elasticity is 200 Gpa.

Precision strip used in the manufacture of spiral wound gaskets and other processes such as pressings. Our Bobbin wound material is extensively used in the gasket sealing industry. Bobbins can be up to 15kgs and speed up the change overs and reduce scrap loss. Our spiral wound gasket production facilitates thicknesses of 0.20mm, 0.18mm, 015mm and 0.10mm. Widths come as standard in 5.33mm, 5.0mm, 4,75mm with a minimum width of 2.50mm. The minimum order for our bobbin wound products is 20k depending on the grade ordered. All of our spiral wound gaskets can be supplied on plastic ribbon or pancake coils. Our inner ring production sizes come in 3.00mm, 4.00mm and 5.00mm thicknesses and widths of 6.50mm wide to 100mm wide. Our minimum orders for inner ring production is 50kg depending on the grade. Material can be supplied as coil or in lengths of a maximum 3 metre.

Our introduction of edge rounding and dressing eliminates the sharp edge, known as a burr that occurs during the production of steel strip and coil. Our updated edge dressing machines are capable of producing both large and small quantities of stainless steel strip and coil with a kinder safer rounded edge or full round edge. We can edge dress on site to a maximum width of 150mm. Certificates of conformity, showing the exact chemical composition of the material are supplied with each delivery. Direct expansion ice banks are usually used for refrigeration of dairy products in medium or large farms, milk collection points, beer or milk factories. Refra manufactures ice banks based on this refrigeration model. Made with multiple stainless steel coil batteries, built into a large water reservoir, these systems work on the principle of ice formation. The refrigerant circulating in the coil batteries forces the formation of ice on the pipes, thus cooling the water inside the tank. This technology is capable of cooling particularly large amounts of water with relatively little energy consumption.
