Secure connections for rough operational conditions In some applications standard connectors are not suitable – for example where space is at a premium or in very demanding operating conditions. This is where our special connectors come into play. While they offer a high degree of connection security, they only have a minimal space requirement. Among other applications, these special connectors are used in the army or by rail vehicle manufacturers.

The special Irus connectors are particularly suitable for mounting all panels e.g. whiteboards, cork boards, felt walls and aluminium hinged frames to our aluminium profile ( Flexi-Long ). They allow you to design any conceivable wall configuration in four different directions per profile, either rigid or movable. You can combine them all. The corresponding connectors are simply screwed to the back of the walls. They can then be mounted, erected and designed as desired. The number of connectors only depends on the size of the different walls. The bigger and heavier the walls, the more connectors have to be screwed to the back of them.

An electrochemical passivation – the tube connectors are electropolished in a final working step – makes them more resilient and resistant to acids than elements made of untreated stainless steel.
