Permanent fixation of a chip module is crucial for every smart card to meet the different demands of ID cards, banking cards, GSM /SIM cards, and dual interface cards. The GTL700 is a highly reliable and flexible solution for glue tape lamination of chip module tapes in preparation for the hot melt implanting process. The glue tape is laminated onto the backside of the module tape. To accommodate the chip, holes are punched into the glue tape prior to lamination. The system operates stand-alone or inline, and is suitable for a wide range of IC module tapes. Various punching and laminating tools are available, which can be exchanged with a few simple steps. Optional reel units allow use of an additional protection tape and separation of carrier tape. The RTI Compact II E is a single-color rotary pad printing machine. Designed as a manual workstation, it is primarily used to print circular cylindrical or flat parts. The basic body consists of an ergonomically designed base frame with protective enclosure and light curtain. The RTI COMPACT II E is consistently designed for ease of maintenance and short changeover times. User-friendliness and easy accessibility of the tampon roller characterize the machine. In addition, the RTI COMPACT II E is equipped with a residual ink pickup for automatic pad cleaning.

These features, combined with the optional programmable stripper and bad part cutter, ensure top quality finished conductors regardless of the machine operator. Quality monitored crimping of single and multi-core cables is no problem with the semi-automatic bt 722 crimp press, not even when ultra-short stripping lengths are involved. Standard commercial crimping tools (left and back contact feed) can be used for processing.

Alpha 488 S produces fully automatically Twisted-Pairs out of two single bulk wires completely cut-to-length and terminated, with all quality controls included. The modular composition of the system provides superb flexibility. Four processing stations at the wire beginning and two at the wire end offer extensive processing possibilities. The machine layout accommodates up to six processing modules. Wires with cross sections ranging from 2 × 0.22 mm² (AWG 24), optionally from 2 × 1.3 mm² (AWG 26), to 2 × 2.5 mm² (AWG 14), (processing set short open ends up to 2 × 1.0 mm²) can be processed in the highest quality. Alpha488S is available in the versions of four, seven and ten meters. In combination with the Komax crimping modules mci 722 or mci 712 and the Komax seals module mci 765 C as well as with the quick-change systems and the integrated quality monitoring systems Alpha 488 S ensures maximum process reliability and extremely short changeover times.

The Komax Gamma 333 PC and PC-B are flexible fully automatic crimping machines offering a variety of efficient processing capabilities. Depending on requirements, these machines can apply two-ended crimp contacts and end sleeves for strands, as well as double crimp connections with three different contacts or seals and sleeves to one end of the cable. Tinning and ink-jet marking are two further options. These models can integrate customer-specific applications like MIL crimping, welding or compaction for a further diversification of production.

Many different shapes are possible with just one mould – notwithstanding easy handling and short changeover times. The easiest way to produce a 3D room element is to use a fixed inner core with a slope. However, this approach is only suitable to elements in which the formation of a wall slope in the element is possible within the scope of the standards and static requirements. Such is the case for the design of garages or the production of transformer stations. For the production of substation elements in particular, we developed a solution that covers common types of stations, is flexible to use, and which can speed up the process in the plant.
