The outstanding product properties (e.g. permanent elasticity) are maintained in the entire temperature range from -60°C to +300°C. Merbenit HM21 is an elastic adhesive with excellent sealing properties. Thanks to its SMP base, the product is universally applicable and highly durable. Merbenit HM21, compatible with paints, offers high elasticity, excellent mechanical strength and a long tooling time. It is grindable, coatable and noncorrosive on surfaces. This sealing adhesive offers a wide adhesion range and exceptional sealing properties.

Merbenit MB55 is a highstrength elastic adhesive. It adheres to various materials and surfaces and is particularly resistant to environmental influences. The adhesive fulfils the requirements of the International Maritime Organisation (IMO). Merbenit MB55, which is easy to process and compatible with paints, offers a wide adhesion range, elasticity and high mechanical strength. The adhesive is adjustable with a high tolerance.

Gomastit 402 is an elastic 1component silicone sealant with an acidic curing system. The sealant is moisturecuring and absolutely resistant to UV, ageing and weather conditions. Gomastit 402 offers a very wide adhesion range and high elasticity, as well as good mechanical strength.

Gomastit 2040 is an elastic SMPbased sealant and adhesive particularly suitable for universal use in the floor area. It cures quickly, adheres to many construction materials and offers excellent sealing properties, making this product a particularly universal one. Gomastit 2040 has been approved for use in food production areas. This sealant and adhesive is compatible with paints and easy to process.

Abrasion resistant sealant for industrial floors with high surface strength. Increases the chemical resistance of the substrate. NEDEX produces polysulfide based sealants named KU-83, PS-018, PS-002 and ARCOL. NEDEX polysulfide sealant is produced to be used in insulated glasses.It has very low permeability water and gas. It has very advanced chemical properties. Polysulfide sealants are recommended to be mixed with a volumetric ratio of 10:1 for A and B components. NEDEX polysulfide based outer sealants KU-83 and PS-018 are for Insulating Glass Units with specifications according to EN 1279:2018.

NEDEX secondary sealant MELTEX hotmelt butyl (hot melt sealant) is a 100% solids, single-component sealant designed for the sealed insulating glass industry. It is formulated from butyl rubber, synthetic polymers and elastomers to give outstanding adhesion to glass and aluminum when fabricated manually or reactivated in semi- automatic equipment. The product is resistant to degradation from ultraviolet light, temperature extremes and water immersion. MELTEX hotmelt butyl is is compatible with inner sealants of NEDEX such as KU-83B and PIB-996. They can be used together, there will be no chemical reactions. Before using MELTEX together with other inner sealants chemical compatibility tests should be done. MELTEX is a secondary sealant for Insulating Glass Unit with specifications according to EN 1279.

fako® Sealing putty 3765, made of butylrubber, has been developed as a supplement to the fako® Sealing strip 3714, for most sealing purposes where absolute resistance to ageing is required and for which an intermediate layer of 0.8 mm to 1 mm has to be used. In combination with the Sealing strip 3714 most desired thickness’s can be obtained for seals. The putty does not become hard but remains plastic and elastic. To fulfil its requirements the putty has not only to be elastic but also plastic so that, when pressed, it will penetrate into any gaps and remain, thus forming a complete seal. Technically this is only possible through a combination of two basic materials with the same chemical composition but with different molecular weights. With two components the above requirement is met for both sufficient penetration depth and stability of the kit at the same time. By simple filling with a putty knife, you can obtain a min. thickness of approx. 0.2 to 0.3 mm. Priming is not required.

Butyl is a solvent free, one component sealant which is used as primary sealant for manufacturing insulating glass units. It has a very low water permeability, good adhesion to glass, aluminium and steel and has a good ageing resistance.

Thiokol is a special sealing compound for manufacturing insulating glass units. It is a 2 component sealing material which has excellent adhesion to clean surfaces such as glass, aluminium or steel. The mixture made from 1 part B component and 10 part of A component applied all arround the insulating glass unit will stop permeability of water and keep the Windows safe for long years.

m+b hybrid S22 is a very lowemission, universally usable, elastic sealant based on SMP for inner and outdoor areas. Adheres excellently on smooth or porous substrates.

NEDEX is producing polyisobutylen based hotmelt secondary sealant MELTEX for insulated glass industry in Istanbul/Turkey. It is specially designed to reach very low gas and moisture penetration rates. Just as butyl sealant, hotmelt secondary sealant is one component sealant for IG units. NEDEX hotmelt sealants have very good physical and chemical properties, is easy to process, and ensures optimal resistance to low and high temperatures. It has good properties in terms of resistance and adhesion. Gas leakage rate is optimized with NEDEX hotmelt. NEDEX hotmelt sealant is completely suitable for IG units with good energy efficiency.

COMPOSITION AND APPEARANCE Powder coating based on plaster, calcium carbonate, resin, and various additives. The paste obtained is white in color. SUBSTRUCTURES ADMITTED All types of plasterboard with or without insulation with tapered edges and cardboard faces. COATINGS Printing undercoat for gypsum plasterboard. Plaster-based smoothing plaster. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS - Setting time: 8 hours - Adhesion of the tape: > 1000 g - Cracking: no cracks up to 5 mm thick - Reaction to fire: A1 STORAGE 9 months in original unopened packaging protected from humidity. MIXING RATIO 10 to 11 liters of water per 25 kg bag. APPLICATION Before treatment of the joints themselves, the panels must be filled between accidentally non-joined panels and various fillings. The application is done manually by "buttering" the thinned panels with a 10 or 15 cm coating knife and placing the strip. Then carry out a finishing pass, let dry and finish to mask the strip. Also mask the screw heads.

TECHNICAL DEFINITION Ready-to-use coating paste coating specially formulated for use on tapered-edge plasterboard joints, to be used with jointing tape. The coating comes mixed : it is suitable for gluing and finishing the tape. COMPOSITION AND APPEARANCE Resin, water, calcium carbonate, preservatives and various additives. The paste is white in colour. TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS Cracking : Up to 5mm thickness with no cracking. APPLICATION Application is carried out manually, spreading the thinned the product with a coating knife across 10 or 15 cm, before laying the tape in position. In the event of projecting vertical angles, use reinforced tape (frame placed at the side of the panel). Apply tape to the internal ceiling corners, making sure that the concrete is free of any trace of forming oil. The surface must be dry and free of any type of powder or insufficiently adherent product.

SUITABLE SURFACES All types of tapered-edge, paper-lined plasterboard, with or without insulation (glass wool, rock wool, polystyrene). COVERINGS First undercoat for plasterboard. Smoothing compound. PACK SIZE Tubs of 5 and 25kg on covered pallet. STORAGE 9 months in unopened original packaging, away from frost and extreme heat. AMOUNT REQUIRED Approximately 500 g/m² of plasterboard. DRYING TIME The second coat can be applied 24-48 hours after the first, depending on the ambient conditions. RECOMMENDED APPLICATION Always leave a minimum gap of 20 cm between doors and windows and the first plasterboard joint.

Filling and bonding (if tape) in one pass. And finishing is possible in a single layer. • FILLING, ASSEMBLY, SEALING Dilute with 45% water. 2.2 l to 2.3 l water per 5 kg bag or 11 l to 11.5 l for 25 kg. Open bevelled cracks or rifts. Apply with a putty knife or spatula. Completely fill up the part to be filled, smooth carefully. Time of use: 45 min. Hardening: approx. 1 hour.
