The fiber laser system can be positioned quickly and has a long range. The 3D visualization with integrated laser safety glasses enables the user to observe his welding task as well as the surroundings. The welding process is shown enlarged and the process-relevant data is also visible in the image. The handpiece, which is used for welding, is equipped with an automated wire feed and an integrated shielding gas nozzle. It weighs just 1.5 kg and is easy to position. There is no set-up time for welding.

The Repico repair couplings offer solutions to repair leaking pipes, elbows and welds. The pipe can be damaged or the integrity has degraded. This can be a temporary or permanent repair. All repair couplings have hinges or locks allowing the clamp to be “wrapped” around the damaged area. It requires less space than the traditional repair clamp, is able to resist higher pressures and is easier to install. A repair coupling offers a quicker solution than replacing a pipe section and much less cost is involved. Spills into the environment or loss of valuable products can be stopped faster than most other methods offering a high integrity solution. Laser welding is a very gentle welding technique, as the heat input takes place in a locally very limited area. In this way, it is possible to reliably connect critical components with one another in a materially bonded manner, without the parts annealing. With laser welding, the two welding partners are joined together with as few gaps as possible in order to then weld them together (e.g. press-fit zones such as EloPin® puzzled at any feed or distance). The background to this is that no additional material is generally used in laser welding. Exception for build-up welding or repair welding of e.g. broken tool parts such as punches or cutting plates or injection molding tools for abrasive plastics with glass fiber filling. The ALM laser system is particularly suitable for welding large molds and tools, housings and machine components - wherever mobility and maneuverability are required. With the ALM you have exactly the mobility you need for welding. No matter whether in your own workshop or on site at the customer. The laser is ready for use within a few minutes. The arm can be quickly adjusted to the area to be welded and fixed in the desired working position using electro-hydraulic brakes. The operator then has the option of welding manually using a joystick or semi-automatically. One or more axes are automatically moved at a preset speed and with the joystick curves can be driven or small corrections made.

The rutile-basic-coated special-purpose electrode has a non-conductive and water-repellent coating for manual wet underwater welding. It is suited for assembly and repair welding in up to 20 m water depth for offshore and harbour construction, shipbuilding, and steel hydraulic engineering.
