Modular UPS PULSE MODULE with power from 40 (50) to 500 kVA is designed to protect critical loads for data centers of medium and large scale. KONreg S1000 with its compact design, small dimensions and integrated power converter is ideal solution for brushless and small synchronous generators, motors and motor-generator sets. It supports a number of communication protocols and in itself has built several communication interfaces. In conjunction with embeded software allows regulation up to 25A (40A, 10s) and 375Vdc. The main control loop is an automatic voltage regulator with adjustable PID controller. In addition to that in regulator are implemented other additional control functions such as power factor controller or cos (φ) regulator. Field current regulator of PI type is built in as a stand-by regulator. Synchronization function is also implemented in regulator. System allows easy adjustment of all parameters, supervision of all signals inside system and waveform capture (record) through a personal computer and the HMI device.

System is equiped with: two channel digital voltage regulator, fully redundant thyristor power converters in 1+1 configuration, DC field circuit breakers and rotor overvoltage protection. It is suitable for large hydro and turbogenerators. The static excitation system is based on a robust modular design, engineered and designed to meet all modes of operation of large synchronous generators. The system is characterized by high accuracy, reliability and speed. The main characteristics of this system are: dual-channel redundant configuration, automatic voltage regulator, adjustable PID type, excitation current regulator, higher-level control functions (the reactive and active compensation by current generator, the Power Factor Controller / cos (φ) regulator, embedded power system stabilizer (PSS) ), integrated limiter functions, logic and sequence control, the possibility of extending the digital and analog inputs and outputs.

Our capacitors of the E12 and E33 series are universally-suited for lighting and motor applications as well as power factor correction and power electronics. Their winding element of self-healing polypropylene film is immersed in eco-friendly vegetable oil and designed for highest requirements regarding operational life and functional safety even at high operating temperatures and other extreme conditions such as high humidity. Connection is made through tab connectors. The hermetical aluminium can is provided with an integrated overpressure safety mechanism (break-action mechanism, " BAM ") that disconnects the capacitor irreversibly from the supply in the event of a failure. The E12/E33 ranges comply with the "Type B" classification under lighting standard IEC/EN61048 as well as with "Class P2" under motor capacitor standard IEC/EN 60252-1. Please mind our safety remarks on the use of lighting capacitors in critical environment.

The winding elements in our MKP(D) capacitors are surrounded by poison-free vegetable oil. Like our premium ranges of MKPg and MKP, the MKP(D) combines the best possible technical features with eco-friendliness and operational safety, using special metallizing patterns, our SINECUT slitting technology and optimized winding geometries. Besides excellent ratio of capacitance to volume, our MKP(D) capacitors distinguish themselves by high AC-voltage load capacity and suitability for high rms and surge currents. Our MKP(D) are available as single and three-phase capacitors and well-suited for all conventional applications in power factor correction. They have a self-healing dielectric and are provided with an irreversible overpressure disconnector (break-action mechanism, " BAM "). Connection is made through convenient standard 6.3mm tab connectors. Technical layout, testing and application accord to IEC60831, UL810 and CSA 22.2.

With our long year know how and first-class production facilities, we are manufacturing capacitors in two basic technologies: MKP and MKPg™. In MKP capacitors, the winding elements are surrounded by poison-free vegetable oil, in MKPg™, capacitors, they are immersed by neutral insulation gas. When designing our product ranges, we focussed on the best possible technical features combined with eco-friendliness and operational safety, using special metallizing patterns, our SINECUT slitting technology and optimized winding geometries. Besides excellent ratio of capacitance to volume, our power capacitors distinguish themselves by high AC-voltage load capacity and outstanding suitability for high rms and surge currents. Unlike some of our competitors who proudly quote fantasy ratings, we have really tested our capacitors to their rated values, allowing for sufficient reserves and guaranteeing flawless operation within the specifications.

The custom-tailored capacitors of our E70 series are mainly applied for power factor correction or as resonance capacitors in induction furnaces that are operated at mains frequency (50/60Hz). The E70 are made alternatively in two designs: Inside the steel case, there is a large number of individual self-healing capacitors, each one of them protected by its own break-action mechanism. In the event of a failure, the affected element is disconnected separately while the capacitor as a whole continues to function with slightly decreased total capacitance. Windings assembled inside a hermetically sealed metal case, filled with solid resin, and protected by a pressure sensor similar to the capacitors of our ranges E56/E59.
