The Conventional Railings or Pallet Racking, are the heavy product´s storage system indicated to support pallets. Use The distribution is processed, generally, through one access lateral racks and double access centrals. The separation between them, as the respective height, depend on the forklifts´ characteristics, or load lifting devices, and the height of the warehouse. The pallets are normally manipulated by the narrower side, since the construction of Europallets (800 x 1.200mm) type pallets incorporates the three inferior skids oriented to the 1.200mm side, and these should support themselves perpendicularly to the support beams. Sometimes, specially to favour operations, the pallets are manipulated by its wider side, 1200 mm. in this case, the racks need elements that allow the correct support of the pallets (support beams or brackets).

Heskins semi-rigid warehouse markers are made from a semi-rigid PVC. A cost-effective alternative to other warehouse markers and signs while still retaining excellent durability levels that are required in a busy warehouse or factory. Heskins produce them in a range of shapes for immediate dispatch. Some also feature simple surface prints of letters or numbers with a protective laminated surface. The lean manufacturing of semi-rigid warehouse and pallet markers allows them to be supplied at low cost. This makes kitting out a factory, warehouse or any other premises with these markers and signs a very cost-effective exercise.

The DAMBACH COMPACT SHUTTLE for high bay warehouses, makes pallet storage and retrieval even more efficient. Used in conjunction with rail-guided storage and retrieval machines, the COMPACT SHUTTLE enables warehouse operators to achieve really compact, multi-deep pallet storage. To do this, the storage lanes are fitted with rails on which the shuttles can run. Shuttle and storage and retrieval machine (SRM) therefore form one logistical unit: the shuttle runs on the rails to the allotted storage position where it sets down or picks up a pallet, and the SRM transports the shuttle to the correct storage or retrieval point in the warehouse. Communication between the parent vehicle and the COMPACT SHUTTLE is by way of a point-to-point radio link. This link monitors itself permanently to guarantee maximum communication reliability. Especially a combination of transfer cars and COMPACT SHUTTLE can reduce the energy usage, while maintaining a high throughput capacity.
