Control of all labeling jobs from the ERP system Order processing software _orderProcessing.BRAIN retrieves entire labeling jobs from the ERP system in form of XML files and entirely autonomously controls price labeling lines via _connect.BRAIN. Labeling can be performed on a single-job basis with different items or on a per-item basis for different customers. All relevant data is called up by _orderProcessing.BRAIN and the actual production data is returned once the job is complete.

APL vision inspection systems are designed for a broad spectrum of components. Quality Control Checks, Optical Character Recognition (OCR), Glass Disc Vision Inspeciton System (MK360), Code Reading, Blister & Tablet Inspection and batch sorting applications are a few examples. The systems have been developed to meet high speed quality control requirements for 100% inspection. Our experience with handling systems is key to offering a total solution when integrating vision software. Typical projects start with an evaluation of the vision parameters in order to provide a complete turn key solution.

In addition to the strip speed, VRecoS also records up to three further tracks, such as the rolling force or the strip thickness at the ingoing and outgoing ends of the mill. The measurement protocols can be stored, printed out and distributed by e-mail. The measured values are recorded as a function of length. The recording frequency can be set with a scanning rate of 2 ms. Random lengths of strip at the leading and trailing ends (drop-off) can be suppressed, even subsequently. The signals are recorded using a data collector belonging to the scope of supply. Its electronics with input and output modules is designed for installation in switch cabinets or desks in interference-proof 24 Volt top-hat (DIN) rail technology. It transmits the data via a network cable to the Windows recording computer which can be supplied by Vollmer or by the customer.

VGraph is the software package for the recording and visualisation of data with extensive statistical data evaluation options. It synchronously records up to 16 measurement values – for example thickness, width and speed of the strip, rolling force or strip tension – on a production line, stores them and evaluates them statistically. With statistical functions such as histograms, Cp and CpK values and error lists, VGraph provides valuable decision aids for the evaluation and further use of the coil produced. The diagnostic instruments allow optimisation of the rolling process and the line engineering. The optional FFT analysis detects periodic fluctuations in the strip thickness. VGraph meets the needs of day-to-day strip production. One example: Random lengths of strip at the leading and trailing ends (drop-off) can be suppressed – even subsequently – in the statistical evaluations.

The TechViz's Fusion option is a unique technology that enables the merge the 3D content from separate 3D applications in real time. Software ProCable - CAQ-System customized for cable producer requirements With the CAQ-system ProCable test plans can be developped, orders administrated and the recieved test results can be archived with corresponding additional information into the data bases. ProCable generates a list of results from the measurements according to the applied test plans. Afterwards the test results are deposited structured and accurately. ProCable adapt achieve test results with the test plans. Possible exceeding of tolerance limits will be told on the user at once. The user can be repeating the measurement or will be forced to comment the exceptional circumstances.
